The Colour of My Day
It's my first time posting on Liketu. It took me some time to figure out how to use the platform, and then I discovered something very useful from a Video on YouTube.
Well, I am so excited about it and I'm going to share some pictures taken during the Tet holiday here in Da Nang a few days ago. I just played around with Snapseed and found it interesting. These are some of my favorite photos from this past week that show how I like to spend my days outside during the holiday :)
Having been residing in the coastal city Da Nang, Viet Nam for a while, I have come to love it for its beautiful city, natural beauty, and the warmth of its people. A city is an ideal place for those who are looking for a slower pace of life than the bustling cities in the country like Ho Chi Minh or Ha Noi. It also has incredible scenery with the ocean surrounding the city. I am really happy living here. (Pictures 1 2 3 4)
Every morning, I wake up to my alarm clock blaring at 7AM. It's the sound of my call to action--today is not a day for laying in bed doing nothing. Today is a chance for me to be productive and get things done. Throughout the day, I'll go to the coffee shop, a walk along the beach, read, work, and more. All these actions help me stay healthy and positive about life. With the sun out and warm weather finally, on its way, it's time to take off the winter coat and start thinking about moving that tan line. The summer coming and I will try to wake up earlier and go for an early-morning jog as it's a great way to start my day!(Picture 3 4 5 6 I'm still not sure how to arrange the text below the picture)
I'm not much of a club person, or often up for going out at night but sometimes I do like to go around the night market or Hoi An ancient town. A few days ago, I took my friend to Hoi An and there were a lot of locals there as well as tourists, and it seemed like everyone was out to enjoy the festivities. It is great to see domestic tourism picking up again. Even though it was crowded, I enjoyed it. It was like how Hoi An looked before the epidemic. Before leaving Hoi An, I had dinner at G & T's and enjoyed cocktails.
The Holiday is over and I had a great time. Honestly, my brother and I just had the flu (Covid) but I'm not really panicking. I know that it will come just sooner or later. As I sit here now, reflecting on all that has happened the last few days, I'm grateful for those moments as well as the people that I've been able to share them with. Some days are great, some days are not so great, but one thing is for certain - every day has something special. It's our job to find what that thing may be and take it from there.

Good question. Of course it is completely your right to do as you please on your posts. They just won't look nice on liketu.
It's difficult to make things work so that they are pleasant for all front-ends. We decided to make it look nice on liketu as a priority but perhaps we will visit ways to make it look presentable on other front-ends later.
Obviously the larger audience is on peakd right now, but if liketu ever becomes popular enough, perhaps there won't be a need to edit the post to look good for peakd.

I love the night market. I once experience it in Hanoi there are so many beautiful things to buy.hehehe
The night market in Ha Noi is a cultural tradition that has been around for many years and a must-see once visiting Ha Noi. I'm happy to hear that you love it. The thing I like most about the night market is choosing what to eat and walking around, taking in the sights and smells. :))

You are welcome! We also explored some eating spots in the market. I'm amazed that it is a bit similar to the night markets in the Philippines. Also, the food choices are very cheap but so delicous! Hehehehe

So what did you learn about liketu? I actually don't even know what it is. I love your pictures. The one with the dragon in it is amazing. I also love how you start your day as a call to action. That is awesome!

Yay! Welcome to Liketu, Trang! :) Glad you decided ti give it a try too. I think there is no option to edit the text and mix with the photos on the Liketu platform (yet) so I just post it and then edit it in the front end that I normally use (hive.blog in my case but you can also do it in PeakD or Ecency I am sure). Cool photos btw!

I can understand why these are your favorite pictures. I'm not a club person either, but I still like to explore the area in the evening and go out to eat or to markets, you always get to know new things and people.

You took some really cool shots, I don't know why I love the first one so much, I know the perspective is a bit distorted, but I just love the way that flaming dragon looks like, with the sun set. I thought it wasn't real, and was a video game at first haha.
I don't like clubs neither, but I like capturing the night life, the city lights, so many amazing colors in your pics!
Yeah I wouldn't worry too much, just the flu, no reason to just not continue live a normal life! Take care! I'll have to check what is liketu!
Haha it's not a video game at all Ed. Trust me, it's the fire-breaking dragon in Da Nang. You can check out the video here, it has a fire and water show every weekend in my city.
The Dragon Bridge stands out as a unique building and symbol of the city- one of my most fav destinations here. Whenever I pass by, I stop to take pictures and never get bored. There is beauty around every corner

Just a beautiful colorful town I need to look into Liketu myself I heard about it but still haven't taken a look. I am glad you and your brother are feeling better I had it myself a few weeks ago glad I got it over and done with.
