A visit to the famous Bugna Bridge with friends

I and my co-workers did not have Christmas party way back in December 2023 and everyone decided to celebrate it with the family in January. Everyone wanted to go the the beach for a day and as the days passed by, the plans were realized.

Each of us barangay tanods and the barangay hall staffs and councilors gave 500 pesos each to compensate food, travel cost and the venue. But my family could not come since wife had to go to work and my mom would not allow me to bring kids just to be safe.

And to make our trip more exciting, we went to the newest road built, the diversion road passing Mantibugao, Manolo Fortich through Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.

To get through the other side, we had to pass three bridges and one of the bridge we had to pass is this famous Bugna Bridge. The river bed was empty of water when we paid a visit but perhaps water will come when rain comes too.we never know.

The bridge is picturesque, and tourists come to take a picture with friends and unwind. Cool wind brushes the skin when on the bridge, it came from the sea which is just miles away and green lush environment surrounds the place.

There were horses and cattle below perhaps owned by the locals and farmersnwho neede them to carry their products.

Taking pictures of the bridge is one of the itenerary of our travel that day and everyone enjoyed taking pictures. The road was not being used too often yet giving everyone an opportunity to lie on the road like one of my coworkers did on the picture.
