Photoshoot season with Rachel at Tanjung Aru Beach

NEW MACRO SONY LENSE 70-200 mm F2.8 GM II

Yeah, you heard it right. It was a new telephoto lens, 70-200 mm F2.8 with macro lens. If I am not mistaken, it was the first zoom lens that was attached with a macro lens in it, which means the macro lens was attached with a different range between 70 and 200 mm.

According to the expert, during the Sony talk before the sunset photoshoot, the new lense adapted the magnetic instead of mechanical technology on the latest GM lense, making it faster and more accurate for focus hunting, whether you use the macro function or not.

After a short introduction to the lens, I guess it was my favorite activity during the Sony Open Talk, which was to lend and try their latest camera and lenses. This time I tried their latest Sony A7RV and the newest 70-200 mm f2.8 mII GM lenses.

I was quite sad because they didn't prepare macro stuff to test it. But no worries; Rachel will be our model today.

We were going to the beach, which was about 1 km, but there was going to be a traffic jam at that time, so most of us pooled with other friends cars. We were waiting for sunset since it was evening, but we had no luck because the cloud was diffusing the beautiful sunset. So, that's going to be a regular photoshoot.
