Shortime Weekend Experience In Ortigas Avenue

We spend our weekend in one of the most visited spots every Saturday and Sunday in Ortigas Avenue, Pasig City. The reason why this spot is visited during weekends it's because the whole road of Saphire Road in Ortigas Avenue is closed to the motorist. The road is closed from Saturday and Sunday evening the reason why that road is closed for the motorist is to give a chance to play and do some outdoor activities for the residents who live there. The good thing is even the local tourists who do not live there are welcome to play and do some outdoor activities.

We rented a bicycle cart for our four-year-old daughter and she really enjoyed it. She rode on the whole road with the cart.

After my daughter got bored riding a cart she just ran the street and she was really happy.

As you can see some kids are riding a bike and some others doing sports.

After the sun goes down unexpected heavy rain pours above us so we don't have a choice but to take a shade and wait until the heaven rains stop. While waiting I took photographs of the heaven rain. We had already plan we wanted to stay there until night but because of the rain, we didn't have a choice but to cancel our plan.

After the heavy rains stopped we looked to a restaurant to eat our dinner and we found Popeyes. My older daughter wants a chicken, rice with fries and I ordered a chicken with pasta.
