Let's Unlocked New Tricks EP3 By Chris Lawrence Velasco Jr

Hello and welcome to another episode of "Let's Unlocked New Tricks". In this episode, I'm gonna share with you how my homie named Chris Lawrence Velasco Jr unlocked his new trick the Frontside Tailslide. Unlocking a new trick that you have not even tried before is very challenging and very difficult. But getting a trick you tried for the first time in just a day is so amazing. Actually, Lawrence perfectly landed the Frontside Noseslide by accident because the true trick that he wanted to pull out was the Frontside Smith Grind. I told him if he wanted to try the FS Smith Grind I was gonna teach him the right angle of this trick. Since he had a good Frontside Ollie 50-50 Grind I know he can land that trick.

The first time he tried to land the FS Smith Grind I noticed that he could do it yes he got the proper lock but the doesn't grind a bit. He tried so many times but he failed to land it until he accidentally slid the tail of his board instead of the back truck. I told to him to change the trick instead of FS Smith Grind let's do it the Frontside Tailslide.

The Process

Before he perfectly landed the Frontside Tailslide of course he failed so many times but Lawrence never stopped until he got it. In the processing time, he always locked the tail properly but he always got into trouble when he tried to roll out he always fell to his board.

On this one, he almost perfectly landed the FS Tailslide but by the time he rolled out he was out of balance and he fell to his board.

After so many times of failures, Lawrence finally perfectly landed his first ever Frontside Tailslide even though the tail didn't slide a bit longer the good thing is he already knows how to do this trick. I hope that in our future skate session, he can slide his Frontside Tailslide a little bit longer.
