Happy Birthday to a friend

Isiwu Samuel is the name of the celebrant. I once met him during my time as a jambite preparing to gain admission into one of the most prestigious university in Nigeria(FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY OWERRI) Popularly known as FUTO. Isiwu Samuel was a very shy guy then in my jamb class. He was always trying to hide himself for one reason or the other especially away from the ladies but we were friends since we both applied for same school and we seldomly share ideas regarding the past question from our school of choice. But Samuel was very timid in dealing with those who had plans of going to other schools.
Fast forward to a few years later we both gained admission into the University and I happen to meet Samuel during one of his seminar talk on leadership skills. I was surprised at how the shy guy I once knew from the university started hosting seminar for leadership. Few years after he met me and told me he wants to contest for the position of an SUG president. I was shocked but I knew I had to give him my utmost support. Although he lost the elective position, this man made waves all over the university as a motivational speaker, which earned him the name LEADERSHIP MENTOR.
It's very funny how people can change and develop throughout life and a person you once knew can grow into becoming the best version of themselves. Isiwu Samuel is one of those people and on this birthday I choose to celebrate him properly for the growth he has made. His life journey is a motivation to all. Right now he is currently a final year student of the Mechanical Engineering department at the Federal University of Technology Owerri.
I don't always do this but I believe people should be celebrated when they are alive and their stories told when they can see it. I chose to celebrate this friend of mine by wishing him a happy birthday filled with long life and prosperity.
