Spending Good Time With Friends

There are days when all you need is to meet your friends, share things, and enjoy a good meal or drink. Or sometimes, a simple drink or meal can actually be delicious because it's enjoyed with your best friend. Don't you agree?

Like me and my friends some time ago. So, I was the one who accompanied my friend to the airport because she was going to travel abroad. That afternoon, Jakarta was very hot, so, after travelling for about 45 minutes by car, we arrived at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.

Since there was still time to get our boarding passes, we looked for a comfortable place to sit and buy some drinks. It didn't take long before we decided to go in and order our drinks. I chose Green Tea while my two other friends chose some sort of milk. This is actually the first time you order green tea at A&W. I usually only order the main food menu, rice and fried chicken.

However, I feel that the green tea they serve is latte-like. So, it's not pure green tea, but a milk mixture. I was confused by their unusual menu.

After all the drinks were on the table, we proceeded to share stories about many things: about my friend's list of places to visit, about the content on hive, as well as about our personal lives that we wanted to share with each other.

I sipped my green tea little by little, while listening to my friend take turns lobbying. Sometimes we also talked about politics, ha ha ha... it's actually a rare occasion, but on that day, we actually talked about world politics. It was a strange day.

We didn't order food because we weren't hungry enough, as there was still plenty of time before my friend left, obrlan from hive, politics, now onto Kpop. The three of us are all Kpopers (fans of Korean Pop idols). One of my friends really likes exo, while me and my other friend, we prefer Supper Junior. Since both of them are under the same agency, so, even though the groups are different, we can still chat and connect.

What a random chat, right? It's precisely this kind of light-hearted chat that can only be done with your close friends.

When we looked at our watches, it turned out that the boarding pass time was near, so I escorted my friend to the immigration gate. Our journey today was over. See you next story!
