FIRST MACADAMIA LATTE IN MY LIFE BY FLASH COFFEE

Hi coffee lovers at Hive how are you on 2023? By the way, this is my first post this year. After the holiday, I immediately thought of telling a lot of things and coincidentally, yesterday I had an event with my friends to attend a theater
performance in Jakarta, but, before it, we took the time to stop by a coffee shop called FLASH COFFEE. So, this is the story of my first experience tasting three flavors of Flash coffee.

However, before that, I want to say that the flash coffee shop that I visited has a room that is not too big. Just a long room with chairs and tables arranged not so much, then the ordering counter. Even so, I feel very comfortable here.

For the interior, Flash coffee dominates the color of the shop with a bright color, matching the color of the glass packaging.

What am I curious about?

So, some time ago, my friend in the Hive group told me about Flash coffee, which she thought had a funny and warm taste (maybe because my friend likes yellow, right? Hehe). Besides that, she also mentioned that the Macadamia Latte flavor variant was highly recommended to buy, so I finally decided to buy a small iced Macadamia Latte. While my friend ordered Charcoal Latte. This was the first time he tasted coffee with a mixture of charcoal flavors.

Before entering, we saw that there was a "Cheap Redeem" promo and we asked the barista about it. It turns out, we can take the "Cheap Redeem" promo for the Palm Sugar variant if our total spending reaches 50,000 rupiah, the multiples apply. Because my total purchases met the requirements, we finally took another coffee menu for the Gula Aren Latte variant at a more economical price, from 24,000 rupiahs to 9,000 rupiahs. I got a savings of 15000rupiah. Not bad, right?

After finishing making payments, my friend and I decided to sit down for a while to take photos while waiting for my other friends who were going to go together to the theater location.

While sitting and waiting, I opened my coffee cup and drank on the spot. Hmm ... this is the first time tasting coffee with added macademia flavor. To me, it tastes a bit like a hazelnut Latte, maybe because it's still in the legume family, right? And the two peanuts also look very similar, hehe. It looks similar to taste.

As for the coffee, Flash is not the type of coffee I would buy often. Maybe because I'm the type who likes strong coffee flavors even though it's mixed with other flavors. For Flash, I only found the taste of coffee at the first sip. The rest, just like a drink with coffee flavor. This also applies to the taste of Palm Sugar Latte. But, about coffee, everyone returns to their individual tastes, right?

For Charcoal Latte, I think this variant is better because it has a charcoal texture which is deliberately not very smooth. So that it still leaves a unique taste of a blend of coffee and charcoal.

Apart from more than twenty various coffee menus, Flash Coffee also provides a menu for complementary dishes in the form of bread and pastries, such as; Cheese Danish, Almond Croissant, Butter Croissant, Beef Cheese Croissant, Cinnamon Roll, and others.
