Summary of I learnt from the teachings of brother Eli on our mass indoctrination day2

What are the important points we have learned from God's words discussed in the Zoom meeting?

I learnt that the meaning of the word ecclesiate means right.

Ephesians 4:4 This portion of the Bible teaches us that there's only one body and spirit. The body this portion of the Bible is talking about is the church.

But in our time now there are numerous churches all over the world with different names. Some churches even name the church with their own name which is very wrong in the sight of God.

The only church that existed in the bible is the church of God. The church was named after God because God is the true owner of the church and the body of the church so no man has the right to name a church after them or with a different name apart from the church of God
The members of the church is the body of Christ.
The church of God was first established by Christ in the first century, the church as already being formed since the time of Christ. We only need to join a become a member of it, not forming our own.

For one to become a member of the church of God you will accept his righteousness and his doctrines.

The gospel is a doctrine to be obeyed and taken care of.

Colossians 1:18 This scripture makes us to understand that Christ is the best body which is the church. He's the source the body's life. He is the only son of God who came to earth died and resurrected

Joining the church is a commandment given to us from God and Cleaving to what is good is a commandment from God.

Fellowshipping with one another in the church it is a commandment in the Bible.
So we must make out time to fellowship with one another in the church no matter how busy or schedule is.

What are our old beliefs or expectations that were improved by listening in the Zoom meeting?

1 Timothy 3:5 This scripture told us that A man that doesn't know how to rule his own family won't be able to rule the church or take care of the church.
The name of God is like a hiding place. The righteous runs to it and they will be saved

Proverbs 18:10 This scripture confirms that the Lord is like a strong tower for anyone who is righteous to go and safety will be guguarantee
Roman 12:9 Let us abstain and beware from whatever is evil and dwell with good
When we are rejecting the words of Christ is the same thing as rejecting him

John 12:48 This scripture teaches us that whomever rejects the words of God will be judged by his words on last day

Ephesians 1:13
When we become the people of God when we hear the gospel of christ that gives us access to salvation. When we believe in Christ God will put a stamp of ownership on us and give us the holy spirit he had promised us

How does the study affect us that can make us a better person that we can use in our daily lives?

I've come to understand that to have a good name is better than riches and material things.

So it is better we all learn to choose a good name than to go after material things of the world and end up running our name in the society

Proverbs 22:1 This scripture confirms that we should choose a good reputation than being wealth
Singing is part of the gospel. So we should learn to sing song of praises to God.
