I'm living in a world where I've been told to watch my dreams
And I need to protect my mind because
It's been broken too many times
And every day I wonder if I should even try again...

To give something back and surrender everything
To somebody who needs a helping hand
To somebody who's been through this for a long while
But then again, maybe I'm just not enough…

Maybe at times I just don't realize,
I've seen the dream in various places
I've seen the city from a different point of view
But there's nowhere I can go that isn't familiar all around again...

I want to be somewhere for the first time
I want to be somewhere for the last time
I have to say that life can be hard
But I'm ready to change my fate today if only I could see it...
