I'm running on empty ideas, my tank is low
I'm struggling but I'm fighting for a better life
I want to be the one you turn to when you're in need
The one you run to when your spirits are low
I always want to be that someone…

It's 2:00 AM, tired as hell but still thinking
Feeling like I'm falling right out of sync
Last night I finally got some sleep restored
Greeted with a day of no progress…

I haven't written anything or even moved an inch
So I'm turning back the clock to 12 hours before and just letting my mind run free
Getting up and shoving the 10 to 7 away forever
No more 9 to 5, no more stopping or slowing down...

I'm out to break the world record for the fastest time
Running in between the cracks while awake
The next time I see you, I hope you could see
We'll be in the next time, the next chance to see the light!
