Wonderful Christmas evening with my childhood friends
Hi everybody
Nice to see you again in my post. How are you today?
Today will not be a post introducing places anymore. This post will tell about a rather interesting evening of mine. Did you have a Merry Christmas evening? Last night I had a Christmas evening with my childhood friends. It's been a long time since my group of friends gathered enough to spend a Christmas night together. Years ago, we spent Christmas in many different cities like Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City… So we decided to go out to have a church tour.😊
We love Christmas because it's a very special holiday. Although it was held in my hometown a long time ago, it was not really popular and bustling. On this day, Christmas becomes an indispensable holiday whether you are a Catholic or not. Every December 24-25 every year, many houses and streets sparkle like a starry sky.
We begin at 8 pm max and our meet-up location is Tan Phuong Catholic Church. It is the biggest and most beautiful church in my hometown. To prepare for Christmas, it took people in this church to prepare for nearly 2 weeks.😌 Last night thanks to the lights and lights, it looked like a beautiful castle. These days, Christmas trees are decorated in many places in the church, can be artificial plastic trees, or real trees are usually three-leaf pine or ponytail. On the tree, people often hang pages of various objects, but often there are pairs of guards, cables, boots, gift packages, and decorative lights.
We come here to visit, wish for good things in life: good health, good luck…. In addition, I also have beautiful photos to preserve those moments. As my group of friends, there were a lot of people participating and taking pictures. From little girls, boys, young people to old people. They exchange words of love, small gifts and everyone takes beautiful pictures together.
The weather last night was actually quite cold (about 17-19 degrees C). In addition, people are also afraid because the Covid-19 epidemic is quite complicated, so the number is not too much. In previous years, the number of people visiting the church on this day was so large that they had to jostle each other to take pictures and pray. Everyone's mood really wasn't as good as every year.😕
Our group is also quite afraid of the impact of the epidemic. So, after a short time, we decided to go out for coffee to have some time to talk. We chose the Sóc cafe to stop by (it means coffee squirrel in English).😄 This cafe has also been decorated brightly and boldly in the colors of Christmas Eve. The pine trees are decorated with twinkling lights, shimmering candles bring a magical eye-catching feeling. We enjoy good coffee and chat together. In our group, we have a lot of common interests, the conversations are fun and open-minded. After that, we also organize games to add fun to the gathering. We got home at 10 pm and ended up having a really enjoyable evening.
Did you also have a happy and warm Christmas evening with your family? Share those moments with me!😇
Thank you for reading and see you in the next posts. 😉
