Thoughtful Daily Post Curation Compilation #54

By conveying our deeper thoughts on Hive, we can uplift and support each other across the blockchain. This week we had some wonderful authors visit to share their life reflections, wisdom, and snapshots of their experience on this rock with us.

No matter if they have responded to our weekly prompt, or posted on their own topics, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate thoughtfulness on chain! We hope you will consider taking the time to check their writing out and support their work! You may even make a new friend. ✌️

Celebrate life starting with our own by @miriannalis

(Spanish version in the box) My birthday is my favorite day of the year and although sometimes I have not done any special celebration, the energy of that day for me is very significant, I feel that it goes beyond the opportunity of the celebration itself. The birthday is for me a kind of “existential reminder”, that one that invites you to look at what you have done so far, to relive pleasant moments and even set new goals or projects for this new cycle (year) of life. It is also an opportunity to give thanks for life, and although it is something we can and “should” do every day, on that special occasion of your birthday you connect with that memorable moment when you came into the world. This is why I am very excited about the arrival of my birthday, even from the days before, I think that the whole month of May is special for me because I stay all month connected with these premises of gratitude, reflection for what I have learned and projection for what I hope for the new year. I also feel that I connect again with my childhood and with that state of letting myself be “spoiled”

Waking up above the clouds by @honeydue

Waking up above the clouds, it was only a misdemeanor, after all, so I'm starting to misremember. It was an inordinately long take off, and I knew I should be saving my songs, but my throat was getting itchy. Only for a second, I closed my eyes, so I wouldn't be tempted to gnaw the dust from under my nails. And slept through it. Leaving

the most important WORD to you by @olujay

There was this lady with such fine dark skin, long smooth natural hair and a captivating figure that caught my eye one time. She carried an enigmatic personality wherever she went, or at least where I found her. Quickly, I learned her name, but I maintained composure until the right circumstance to meet her myself. That time came, but I didn't expect what would happen when I mentioned her name. "Oh, wow

Sometimes we need to learn how to celebrate our own birthday. by @gwajnberg

Banner created in Canva   Birthdays are always challenging for me. At least mine. I am not sure how to act during my birthday! Probably it is something that I need to discuss with my therapist. It is weird to see people like my sister in law who usually post about her birthday on her Facebook account, like a reminder note to all those who may forget the date

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝑻𝒐 𝑨𝒔𝒌 by @amiegeoffrey

Many people have made it look as though asking questions is the worst thing that can happen to a person. There's a popular adage in my country that says: "person wey dey ask questions no dey ever miss road". I recall when I was in high school and how most of my classmates make mockery of a person who summoned the courage to ask questions as if it's a taboo. Some of them laughing, have no idea the answer to such questions. when the teacher throws back the question at them, they become dumb

If You Were in Her Shoes, What Would You Do? by @whatmidesays

What would you do if you were in her shoes? Hi everyone, good evening. I hope you’re all doing quite well. I heard a story this afternoon that really provoked my thoughts, and despite thinking so hard about it, I can’t seem to arrive at a rational conclusion. Maybe because I am yet to get to that stage of life

A rite of passage for Chi Chi. by @bipolar95

Image is mine The thing with birthdays is, it's usually an all in one celebration for me. It is also one that counts as a celebration of life, as well as a reunion between friends, families and loved ones. Personally, I have never viewed birthdays as important. Probably because my parents never laid emphasis on it. Well, in my mom's defense, she said that her mother never celebrated birthdays so she didn't feel the need to

Celebration of life. - Weekly prompt. by @peacefulsoul

Birthdays are celebrations of life. They are a special day to remember why we need to be more grateful, what we need to do ahead, and how much we have made so far. Birthday is a milestone. It's understandable why some people may not feel joyous on their birthday. Everyone has their own reason

See the world. by @balikis95

Life gets busy. So busy that we hardly have time for ourselves, especially when we are in the phase of building from scratch. I know this because I am living in a world where hustling is the way of life. I know there are a bunch of us in this lane. The hustling lane where each day we open the precious gift; our eyes, the next thing on agenda or even the next thought that comes in is the work we need to get done for the day

Birthday Celebration Is A Good Life. by @ijebest

Birthday celebrations we all know are happy moments of sharing how we feel about our lives, the lives of our loved ones. It's also a time of appreciating the goodness of God Almighty more than other times. God has been in his wonderful business of adding days and years to our lives, he also has been promptly allowing us to sleep peacefully and waking up the subsequent days all alone by his own discretions, love, favours and choice. Birthdays, are worth celebrating 🎈 🎉. I love celebrating both my birthday and the birthdays of my loved ones
