Hello everyone!

I make this little post thanks to the fact that in the program @playerhive we were motivated to make a post using the theme: What is the best and worst skin you have in a video game? And I was encouraged to follow this theme because it's been a long time since I have participated in an activity of this style.

This time I bring you my post talking about the best and the worst skin I have in League of Legends, a game that I play for many, many years and I have collected several skins that I keep in my main account since 2019. So let's start with the one I like the most (and it's on the cover photo of this post).

I got this skin in a very random way and also with a lot of luck. In League of Legends, many years ago they added a system of boxes and keys that allows any player to get free skins, and after so many years with this system, my luck was dazzled in a moment and I got this beautiful skin that, so far, is what I consider my best skin in this game (and by far).

I'm someone who greatly loves the artwork that character skins have, so I mostly go for the splash-art that the skin has before anything else. I find the whole prestige edition design AMAZING and since it's a mythical skin, it's not that easy to get (which makes it even more awesome).

In-game also has incredibly detailed animations, but unfortunately my internet can't record gifs because my internet takes too long to change the MP4 format to GIF, even cancelling the upload most of the time. So I just preferred to attach a screenshot in game while it's channeling the backeo. When my internet is better, I hope to make a more in depth review of this skin, or maybe just bringing it in some lol game :)

It's worth mentioning that its normal version (without the prestige) also has a pretty amazing splash art, although unfortunately they don't give it for free with the prestige version :(

Before I start talking directly about the worst skin I have, I also want to make an honorable mention to this skin:

Zed Galactic Exterminator is also a skin that has an AMAZING design not only. Not only being enough with a splash-art of another level, all its in-game animations are so well polished that makes me love it every time I see it.

Unfortunately Zed (and also in the case of Lee Sin) are champions that I don't play because they have somewhat complicated mechanics, and I usually try to stay away from those types of champions for fear of spraining my hand.

Now... let's go with what I consider my worst skin I have in my collection:

Actually, it's a problem that doesn't have to do explicitly with this skin, but with several skins that suffer the same problem: they are extremely neglected.

Time traveler Zilean is a HORRIBLE skin not only because it has a mediocre splash-art (which doesn't even make it eye-catching), in fact, it's a skin that can even be considered to be in discordance with the character itself.

What do I mean by this? Every skin in LoL usually has a lore or a small description of the universe where they are placed, but this Zilean skin doesn't even have a description... making it even stranger because, Zilean by himself is a champion that manages time, and now he has a skin of.... time traveler?

What garbage haha, it doesn't even make sense.

But this problem, as incredible as it may seem, a lot of skins have it, just to mention another one that I also have in my catalog:

Toy Shaco, Shaco being a puppet.... horrible.

And that's it! The truth is that LoL has a lot of problems these days with nonsense skins that seem to be there simply for filler. I don't understand what they're thinking in not even removing these skins from the game, but, it's an issue we've been seeing for years now.

Hago este pequeño post gracias a que en el programa @playerhive nos motivaron a hacer un post utilizando la temática: ¿Cuál es la mejor y la peor skin que tienes en un videojuego? Y me animé a seguir esta temática porque hace bastante tiempo que no he participado en una actividad de este estilo.

En esta ocasión les traigo mi post hablando de la mejor y la peor skin que tengo en League of Legends, un juego que juego desde hace muchísimos años y he recolectado varias skins que conservo en mi cuenta principal desde 2019. Así que empezaremos con la que más me gusta (y está en la foto de portada de este post).

Esta skin la conseguí de una forma bastante aleatoria y también con muchísima suerte. En League of Legends, desde hace muchos años añadieron un sistema de cajas y llaves que permite obtener skins gratuitas a cualquier jugador, y luego de tantos años con este sistema, mi suerte se deslumbró en un momento y obtuve esta preciosidad de skin que, hasta ahora, es la que considero mi mejor skin en este juego (y por mucho).

Soy alguien que ama enormemente el trabajo artístico que tienen las skins de los personajes, así que mayormente me dejo llevar por el splash-art que tiene la skin antes que nada. Todo el diseño de la edición prestigio me parece INCREÍBLE y ya que es una skin mítica, no es tan fácil de obtener (lo que la hace aún más increíble).

Dentro del juego también tiene animaciones increíblemente detalladas, pero lastimosamente mi internet no puedo grabar gifs porque mi internet se tarda demasiado tiempo en cambiar el formato MP4 a GIF, incluso cancelando la subida en la mayoría de veces. Así que simplemente preferí adjuntarle un screenshot in game mientras está canalizando el backeo. Cuando mi internet esté mejor, espero hacer una reseña más a profundidad de esta skin, o tal vez simplemente trayéndola en alguna partida de lol :)

Vale la pena mencionar que su versión normal (sin el prestigio) también tiene un splash art bastante asombroso, aunque lastimosamente no la regalan junto a la versión prestigio :(

Antes de comenzar a hablar directamente de la peor skin que tengo, también quiero hacer una mención honorífica a esta skin:

Zed Exterminador Galáctico también es una skin que tiene un diseño ASOMBROSO no solamente. No solamente siendo suficiente con un splash-art de otro nivel, todas sus animaciones dentro del juego están tan bien pulidas que me hace amarla cada vez que la veo.

Lastimosamente Zed (y también en el caso de Lee Sin) son campeones que no juego porque tienen mecánicas algo complicadas, y usualmente me intento mantener alejado de ese tipo de campeones por tener miedo a que me de un esguince en la mano.

Ahora.. vamos con la que yo considero mi peor skin que tengo en mi colección:

En realidad, es un problema que no tiene que ver explícitamente con esta skin, sino con varias que sufren el mismo problema: Están extremadamente descuidadas.

Zilean viajero del tiempo es una skin HORRIBLE no solamente porque tiene un splash-art mediocre (que ni siquiera lo hace llamativo), en realidad, es una skin que incluso puede considerarse que entra en discordancia con el propio personaje.

¿A qué me refiero con esto? Cada skin dentro de LoL usualmente tiene un lore o una pequeña descripción del universo donde se ubican, pero esta skin de Zilean ni siquiera tiene una descripción.. haciéndola aún más extraña porque, Zilean de por sí es un campeón que maneja el tiempo, y ahora tiene una skin de... ¿viajero del tiempo?

Que basura haha, ni siquiera tiene sentido.

Pero este problema, aunque parezca increíble, lo tienen mucha skins, por solo mencionar a otra que también tengo en mi catálogo:

Shaco de juguete, Shaco siendo una marioneta.... horrible.

¡Y eso es todo! La verdad es que LoL tiene muchos problemas actualmente con skins sinsentido que parecen estar allí simplemente por relleno. No entiendo en qué piensan al ni siquiera remover estas skins del juego, pero, es una problemática que estamos viendo desde hace años.
