Take your time, enjoy it. If possible, play blind (meaning don't look for walkthroughs).
Sorcerery is generally easy mode, but it kind of sucks in this game compared to other Dark Souls games.
Samurai is really fun and starts with gear you don't need to later replace, only upgrade.
If you played previous Dark Souls games, R1 (light attacks) spamming isn't as effective and you want to use R2 (strong attacks) more often to stagger and stun enemies. Jumping attacks work really well for this as well.
If you are new to Dark Souls, don't overlevel, try to buy gear and items to balance it out. Overleveling makes the game a lot easier and less sense of accompllishment when beating something.
All Dark Souls games have been beaten by people at level 1 without any upgrades, so if you ever get stuck with a boss, know it is very possible to beat them at your level, someone has done it before at level 1. Learn the attacks of the enemy and calculate when you can get your hits in without being punished. I tend to be lazy here unless I really start to struggle on a boss.
Thanks for your suggestions. I started playing it is beautiful and fun, now I will follow your gameplay videos more carefully, they are useful. Thank you.

This fight is a nice example of how the scenery can turn against you, after so much dodging you got into a wall XD Coincidentally that's something that happened to a friend when he was fighting this boss.
FINALLY, I didn't think the first 10 minutes of video was going to be just fighting Margit. This boss was a complete pain in the ass, and I find it funny because you were like "I must not be so greedy", but still sometimes you were giving her attacks when you shouldn't XDDDD. At least for that final attempt everything went perfect.
DUUDE, WHAT A COMBO AT 14:35. That wolf and that knight really knew how to destroy you.
Man... your brain died at minute 15:11. I can't believe that malnourished wolf hitted you so many times XDDDDDDDDDD
That fight against that wolf at minute 17:30 was more legendary than the whole fight against Margit. 0 potions, 2 hits to die, and you were on the edge of death. I'm still impressed how the fight against some normal monsters can be more complicated than against bosses haha.
I'll watch the rest of the vid in a while
Bruh, you got trolled by your controller XD, what happens with your runes when you die that way? Like when you fall into the void or just falling from too high.
I never imagined you would be able to take on 3 giants at the same time, lol. It's funny because I thought you were just wasting time with them, but then I saw how one of them killed the other one and I understood what you were doing XD.
Why there are so many giants?
XDDD that guy came from nowhere at min 33:35, what a nice surprise.
Nice to see that this vid wasn't 1 hour long, I'll try to watch the next ones faster, watching all the episodes is taking so long.
Wow today episode is amazing I really enjoyed the play Elden ring is cool thanks for sharing the graphics is perfect
its game seems to be hard if I am the one playing.

I should be able to start this game today. Do you have some advice? Sounds great to me. @themarkymark

Nice fights!
Elden Ring (and Dark Souls) is the kind of game that I love to watch, but I can't bring myself to actually play it.
When ER released I was "oh boy, let's buy this bad boy and play", but now I'm just watching ppl playing it on the TV.
!1UP
It takes patience, and it's not for everyone, but the frustration pays off in spades when you accomplish what you feel was impossible.
You have received a 1UP from @luizeba!

Not sure why so many giants. I believe it is trying to teach you to lure them into broken statues to expose the loot.
Oh you did that now I think about it, but thought you could destroy the statues yourself
No need a large creature to do it.
