Because of my [relatively] high Reputation Score and the amount of HivePower I have staked, I am no longer eligible for prizes on HivePowerUpDay (HivePUD), but that is no reason not to PowerUp! I was recently gifted with some HIVE — for which I am very grateful — by a wonderful individual on the platform. 💗 That generous gift of 250 HIVE is what I am PoweringUp this month!

This PowerUp puts me over the 21,000 HivePower mark! I am thrilled! 😁

For any new Hivean who is not familiar with the PowerUp process, here is an explanation I gave in a prior HivePUD post:

The PowerUp process is when we take liquid assets (HIVE, in this case) and stake it on-chain. In very simplistic terms, it's akin to buying stock, proving that you believe in the future of the chain. In return for the stake, those who PowerUp have a greater vote-value when they upvote posts (which, in turn, earns greater Curation Rewards), have more Resource Credits (RC) with which to transact with the blockchain, and earn 'dividends' of HP awarded periodically over time. The best way is to write good, quality posts. Your Reputation Score will increase as people with a higher Rep than yours upvote your posts because they're great! 🙂

According to the rules in the official HivePUD post in order to qualify for prizes:

• Your reputation must be above 39 and below 70.
• Your total Hive Power (before the 1st) must be more than 100 and less than 8000.

My Reputation Score is 71, and I have over 8000 HP. So, I do not qualify for any prizes. But that is fine, I am still growing my account! 🙂

Something exactly like what I wrote in this post would be good! Or, you can look at other HivePUD posts by clicking here: https://peakd.com/trending/hivepud. Most people talk about how hard they worked on the platform lately, earned some rewards, so here's what they're PoweringUp. Most include a screenshot of their wallet as proof. You can be just as serious ~OR~ goofy with the post as you wish. In your case, you could talk about how you gave your wallet a "workout" and decided to "bench press" 64 HP into it this month, or whatever. We could even make a special image with "64 HP" marked on the weights. 😁 But, anything is fine, really!

That is an amazing accomplishment so happy for you. I totally whiffed on PUD day this month but did get my 30 day posting badge so that is a huge notch in my blogging belt.

As always thank you for all the things you do here kitty you have been such a helpful person to so many of us and the terminal is an amazing discord to be a part of. I have learned a lot in my short time there and always enjoy the conversations happening there also the music hangouts are super fun have to catch more of those.

Wow congrats @thekittygirl. That is wonderful that you are invested in the platform to that degree. Thanks for sharing the info on power up day.
