Lone Madman in the Apocalypse - Surviving the Fallout 4 Wasteland - Part eleven
Back outside to fight and avoid legendary creatures
With the Mass Pike tunnel now cleared and a quick sleep completed for that needed rest before what is outside on this end, Arghrash took the step out through the door, hearing enemies nearby.
"Better give them a taste of what a mine can do to a person" he whispered to himself before placing a mine near the doorway, before taking a shot to lure one or two to their death!
The excitement quickly faded before a focused mind was set in its ways to clear out the other raiders protecting this entrance while looking to looter any wandering people.. the focus was great with raiders being killed with ease which gave a lot of ammo to be collected among the other usual loot.
There was a firefight with a raider scum and psycho which took a bit because of all the hiding behind cover, after some time he got the upper hand, finishing them both off and continuing to loot as much cool shit that is needed as possible.
"Well I took a while like Lucky's Labyrinth but that place gave me so much value for the effort put in which I am happy with."
He headed on the outskirts of a nearby city to near the Boston Police Rationing site, there was a nearby building looking to possibly have some loot and maybe purified water but he was confronted by a beast. The legendary rabid radstag beast that just destroyed him instantly.
Arghrash needed more of a tactical advantage this time so he could get the better of the beast, he wasn't sure how except finding a nice spot to perch up on.
Then out of nowhere inside the building, out popped the legendary mole rate brood mother that went straight for the lone madman but failed.. "Phew was that close to get to a higher safe point so I cannot die" he said as he watched the brood mother and rabid radstag legendaries fight it out while chucking in some shots to make it more even and both easy to finish off.
Catching his breath was a nice feeling after so much fighting and death. Running and walking back to base was relaxing except for the parched mouth from lacking water, prompting a drink from the nearby body of water and filling the bottle with some water.
This made him struggle to carry everything he had from this adventure out and required using buffout to boost his strength and be able to carry more, this came with being now addicted to all buffout sort of chems and would have to be cleared at some point.
The running continued for some time as the AP used to run kept running low, walking made it take longer but he eventually was able to make it to Oberland Station for a well earned 8 hours of sleep to be revitalised and reducing the hindering attributes to his current health.
"Better cook some of that meat I am carrying so I got more food to last me and satisfy these hunger cravings " claimed Arghrash before cooking some meat at the cooking station. One was Yao Guai Ribs, this thing both fills you up a bit while giving a boost to damage resistance so you are feeling stronger in general.. well for 1 hour at least.
They were having trouble with more raiders again but this time, it was the ones occupying Back Street Apparel. Arghrash readily accepted the job of disposing of the scum and will have to boost this small settlement's defences sometime down the track.
"I will have to take some of you so I am good for the trip, some of you as well and I just need to be better prepared I think" Arghrash mumbled to himself while sifting through the storage.
The workshop had plenty of purified water ready to be taken and used, ensuring to keep a few there as backup but this would get him properly hydrated for a change with a couple to take on the trip. Some of the spare mutt chops were grabbed for food along with some more ammo like fusion cells, the fusion cores to make it 3 on hand for vault 81 and anything else that might come in handy.
Another long 8 hours sleep so progress was ready to go if dying, to be back at base with things stored and new items for the trip to be taken. Upon arriving at vault 81 once more he would first speak to Cricket from the caravan camped out front, trading lots of caps for multiple fragmentation mines and molotov cocktails.
Soon after he headed inside and straight to the intercom, advising of his success with acquiring 3 fusion cores and was willing to trade them for entrance into the vault.
This seemed like a good place to hold up for the time being due to the safety and what is on offer here, one last trade but with Alexis in the vault this time, selling some items for fusion cells is an amazing trade when they are all spare anyway.
"Now I just need to clear my mind and relax ready for the next quest I have to complete, I will sit in a quiet corner away from people as to not be disturbed and then I will head out again."

Was the game always in 3rd person? Or is it a toggle maybe? I remember it as a first person game from when I played it ages ago.
You can change between both and I felt like going with third peraon for a change haha. Normally I do first person.
