FungiFriday Challenge : Remains of Mushrooms that still grow in the dry season
Mushroom greetings to all my friends in the world. As my contribution on this very special day in the FungiFriday Challenge by @ewkaw there are several mushrooms in the dry season (dry season).
This is a long-lived mushroom and is resistant to drought or dry seasons. Mushrooms that are ball-shaped, hard and have various colors. The flesh of the fruit is purple, brown, or silvery black, arranged in layers of concentricities. Maybe a fungus called Daldinia concentrica.
The fungus Daldinia concentrica is a species of fungus from the family Hypoxylaceae. These fungi are also common, including King Alfred's cake, cramp ball, and coal fungus.
The fungus Hymenoscyphus herbarum is a species of fungus from the Helotiaceae family. This fungus grows on the leaf midribs of coconut trees. Without it, the mushrooms have started to wilt and are no longer fresh. Maybe because the weather is very hot.
Then the mushroom Psathyrella. Mushrooms belonging to the Psathyrellaceae family. Some also have brown spores instead of black. The type species of Psathyrella is Psathyrella gracilis, which is now known as Psathyrella corrugis. This mushroom is often dull in color, difficult to identify, and all of its members are considered inedible or worthless (to eat) so they are often ignored.
The fungus Torrubiella is a species of fungus from the Cordycipitaceae family. Mushrooms with a gray color are shaped like coral in the open sea.
