FRIDAY THRIFT SHOPPING
Hello Hive,
It's #MarketFriday and am happy posting here once again. Going through my whatsapp status yesterday, I saw a post from a friend about her newly stocked thrift goods that just arrived and I messaged her that I will be coming over today to check and get some few stuffs.
So I went there together with my sister @adeife2 and on getting there we met some few people there already who also came for some shopping too
Checking those clothes, oh yea she has nice and beautiful stuffs and her prices are amazingly affordable too, even guys were also there to shop.
I sighted this beautiful shirt and the trouser, I checked the size and it is my size for a free shirt cus I have wanted to have one for sometimes now then I asked her to help me pull it off the mannequin
We negotiate on the price and I paid for it
It was pretty nice shopping with her as I was also able to meet some few beautiful souls whom we actually gist a little and joke about somethings together for the little period of time and am glad I patronize her too cus it is my first time shopping with her.
Thanks for stopping by my blog 🤗🥰👍❣️
Looks like that's a huge win :)
Yea, it is. Fun plus shopping
Was this the girl's house or was it a business? Or does she run a business out of her house? I am glad that you found something that suits you. You say it is affordable, but, curiously, what does that equate to? Is it half the price of a new one or even less? Hard to judge how good the bargain is.
As an aside, you should aim for pictures that are in focus. Any that are out of focus, you should omit from the post. The last few are pretty blurry. I hope you enjoy your new piece!
#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through by their markets, especially local markets and farmers markets and eventually branching out and evolving over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact of what is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.
Fridays are all about the #MarketFriday Challenge! Looking to take part in it? Here is how:
Take pictures! Be creative!
5. Drop the link into the MarketFriday comment section so I can find it
7. You must put #MarketFriday by @dswigle somewhere on your post. If you don't and someone reads it, there is nothing to tie #MarketFriday to that post.
As always, please remember! #MarketFriday loves you!
Upped and reposted
Way lesser, like about 80% off.
She runs the business from her house but dedicated her sitting room full as a store to run her business.
Thanks so much for the observation
