Garden Update: The Seedlings Mama Replanted That One Rainy Morning :)

It's quite hot today compared to the past few days or perhaps weeks. It's already the rainy season, so we're expecting to have more rainy days.

Speaking of rainy days, I want to show some pictures I took of my parents especially my mama who replanted some seedlings that one rainy morning. I had to work that time since it was a weekday, so I just took some snaps in during my break time.

These are our water spinach, spring onion, okra and one of the bonsai eggplants.

The temperature was very comfortable that time, that they both worked outside. Mama was busy replanting some of our seedlings while papa was getting rid of the algae forming in our front yard due to the rain. It's slippery, so it's better to get rid of them.

The spring onion she planted is actually a bulb with some roots in it. She just cut the leafy part for our viand that time and planted the remaining part.

This rainy day happened around two weeks ago. So, let's check how they are now.

Sadly, the water spinach isn't doing well. I think it really needs to be planted where the roots can reach deeper. Planting it in a pot doesn't seem to be working, but we'll see. As for the others...

These spring onions are ready to be used any time. :) We'd just cut a portion of it and it'll grow again. There's another spring onion bulb which we planted a few days ago... and the leaves are starting to show now as well.

Here's the bonsai eggplant mama replanted that time. We separated it from the other eggplants which are in our backyard because this eggplant's leaves are too wide, so it'll be difficult for it to grow if placed with the other plants. It looks so good. I wonder when it'll start forming flowers. :)

As for this bonsai okra, we placed it in the garden behind the house. It was so hot today that the leaves are droopy. It'll go back to normal once the temperature feels better.

There are some veggies to be harvested soon, so I'll also make an update about them in my next post. Thanks for reading and see you around! :)

Wow that's amazing. I also like to grow plants in pots, be it flowers or vegetables.

Great... It would be great to have a bigger space, but I'll stick to pots for now given our limited area. haha Have a great one! :)

It's really nice to plant veggies at home, ika nga nila eat real foods in life. Mahirap daw magtanim ng water spinach, madaling malanta, requires a lot of care.

True... 😁😁😁

Oo nga ehh.. Plus rainy season pa.. pero before we're able to grow them sa community garden... Mas mahirap now kasi nasa pot lang sya... XD

I think mahirap talaga sa pot siguro dahil limited space or I don't know. Buti pa diyan tag-ulan na.
