The Terrifying Beauty!
Well Hello There Fellow Technicians And Hivers!
The Beauty Of It Is Terrifying!
Well she's a beauty isn't she! She really is! That might be the thing that turns me of the most about it! The fact that it is beautifull but yet it's within the four walls of our shop! That means they aren't built that tough right?
Okay so this specific one we worked a little different around it!
The reason for this is that this vehicle is still under factory warranty so this build wont be getting a rebuild transmission.
No No!
This one is getting a completely brand new transmission straight from the factory and in the original container!
Excited? Well I suppose? It's going to be an easy one!
Not A Thing In This World!
Okay there might be a whole bunch of stuff that I would like more than a newly received engine or transmission! The feeling of unboxing it is immense and it's not even getting unboxed for something I own! It's just the thrill of seeing it I suppose because that's all I can do with it.
Look at it and stare it in the eyes!
The nice part about this is that there is no grease everywhere and the fitting of it goes pretty easy and smooth! The only thing you should care for is that you don't break any of that new stuff!
That would not end well!
Pretty Dandy!
You'll be able to spot this transmission from underneath this pickup from a mile away!
I can't think the owner is too happy about this! Especially not after buying something brand new and have it failing on you! But then again if it was me I'd be overly ecstatic about getting a new transmission!
Then the thought of when will it break again pop up in your head and make you all negative about things! Well heck yeah you're driving a frikking Nissan! What did you think was going to happen!
Did you think it was going to pull you through to the million mile car? Nah not these new cheap Nissans!
A Whole Lot For Nothing!
An entire steel crossmember had to be added to give this pickup the support it needs to be able to carry the heavy loads!
Hah WEAK!
Okay but seriously! Nissan didn't kid around when they threw this one into the bunch! Perhaps they did it so that it had some extra weight pulling it to the road, that I can understand since it is something viable... but what I can not even grasp is the fact that it had to have three thick as hell bolts on both sides on the front!
Like why my guys? Two would have sufficed!
I mean after all they are meant to be towed in on a low bed! Laughs! It'll break down before it breaks out!
Meh I'm just talking a bunch of nonsense!
Signing Off With The Views!!
Now since I had the opportunity to do this I thought I'd share some nice views with you! Heck that is something I can admire! Especially after a long day at work! Relaxing and breaking the sweat with a nice view of the sun setting!
With that I have no complaints! It makes for singing off the day on a perfect pitch! It almost feels like all of the stress just drains away!

Wow man that transmission sure looks like a really big deal. It's neat how they're putting in a brand new one straight from the factory. Must be exciting to see it all come together without any messy grease everywhere. Lovely car man very lovely 😍😍
Congratulations, it's good that you were able to replace the transmission with a new one.
This way the vehicle is guaranteed to run smoothly.
It's good for the customer because if the warranty wasn't honoured he would have had to pay a hefty price for a rebuild on those transmissions. They are quite new though.
I have to say it was quite a lot of fun to fit a new one for a change!
