The Post Office Tree And Historic Things!
The Enjoyment Of Travelling!
Now that is something that can hardly not be enjoyed! Right?
Today we did quite a lot or rather we did one thing and saw overly much for the price we paid, seriously! We saw a lot! I wont be sharing all of that just yet but I will have to break the post I am planning on writing in the future into two or maybe even three posts!
What we did was we went to check out the Barthlomias Dias museum in Mosselbay! It was an experience to say the least of it! The last time we went over there they were still busy with renovations and since then they have souped up the place quite fantasticly!
The main attraction of all of this is likely the ship and the posting tree! Nope that is not the same as this Great Britain post box we've got hidden away here in the bushes! Although I did think "The Betty" would look nice posing for a photo next to it!
Extraordinary Views!
Now this is something nice to see on a daily ey!
This is a wideshot angle photo of the yards around the museum and standing there is really phenomenal to say the least of it! Now the photo doesn't at all do justice of how beautifull the views really were!
If not for the extremely windy day I might have stayed outdoors the entire damned day! Sheesh I can't wait to write up about this one!
Oh on a different note! Notice the tree to the left sticking out? Well that is part of the posting tree or the post tree, not sure what to call it!
You'll see more of that soon!
The Entanglement Of The Trees!
Now as I said I'll be writing up on each of these topics real soon and I'll also be sharing a ton of photos on each of them but what stood out was this tree! you'd think it to be a bunch of trees planted all together but when you look, when you really take a look you'll see it being only one tree that grew into a chunker of one!
Where the roots fall into the ground they come out stronger where they root out again! It's simply amazing to see all of this in play!
The feeling you get when manuevering through and under the branches is amazing! It just unveils more and more with every step!
Simply breathtaking!
The Added Aquarium!
Now this is something huge that they added! Even though it isn't a huge aquarium at all! The fact is that they went as far to add an aquarium and I swear the one octopus really listened to the name I called out!
I swear she was posing up for the camera but those I'll share in the post to come! It felt really amazing and weird at the same time! It wasn't at all a big octopus but it was nice to actually see one in action! With all the tentacles and all that!
Yeah yeah I know the picture is not related at all but here ya go!
The Ship!
Now this would be a banger to write up on! The ship!
Who would have thought the ship would actually be inside the building? It felt more than scary or rather scary is probably not the word to use! It felt gigantic and extreme!
I have to add on that! Yeah the ship is absolutely huge! But I can not see how people back in the olden days actually crossed oceans with this? Not after seeing oil tankers being thrown around at sea like they are dinky toys for kids!
But this does actually look pretty whack doesn't it? I do think so!
If you are keen on seeing more of this, do stay tuned and give a follow there for more!!!
