Surviving In Rustopia: I Thought I Had It All!
Well Hello There Fellow Gamers And Hivers!
Welcome To Rust!
Let's Recap!
In the last episode of Surviving In Rustopia I had the most useless run ever! And I mean it was really useless but as useless as it was it was double the fun! The only downside to the game for me at the moment is the sluggishness but then again that has nothing to do with the game it's the system running it and over the last two years they have added so much into the game! I am somewhat impressed, first they added underground railways and then they added a whole underwater world with laboratories and everything! Submarines, torpedos! The works you name it!
I am really keen on showing you the underwater world but that might be some time before I'll actually get to that, I am planning on sticking another RAM stick into the laptop, it's either that or I have to get an upgrade kit for the PC on Evetech! Soon though soon!
This run though, well it wasn't completely worthless even though I lost everything at the end of it! But it was nothing compared to the lesson I learned!
Hitting Launch Site!
It was finally time to try and venture back to Launch Site.
I've been there more times than I can count but coming back to Rust now after almost two years I realized that a lot has changed!! And I mean a lot!
But first I need to get my hands on a Blue Key Card because I actually need a Red Key Card for launch so I'll have to get on that ASAP! Luckily for me I already have a Green Key Card to get the Blue Key Card. So this saved me a great deal of trouble to run to Lighthouse or Oxym's Gas Station which were both going to make the journey so much longer!
The Harbor finally in sight!
If this was early game I might have run into a few players.
Fortunately for me it's almost the wipe of the server so I was doubting that I would even see a naked close to this place at all. I didn't incase you were wondering!
That doesn't mean that you shouldn't be on guard hey!
Needless to say I managed to get Blue Key Card without any hassle whatsoever!
Now it's the long haul back to get the Red Key Card at Water Treatment Plant!!
Finding A Rarity!
Well well well and here I thought that I was going to tread to Water Treatment Plant on horse back!
I'm actually more than surprised that this mini-copter is still here! I came past it a few days ago and saw it standing here!
We take those!
This was a really big win! This thing costs 750 scrap as far as I have it and that's like half of what I have at the moment so buying it wasn't really on the top of my list!
Of-course I'm going to take that gem back to base!
Now I wasn't for one moment going to even consider leaving that behind!
It's like putting down the gold and taking the silver, madness I tell you! It's worth mentioning that I had a much easier time flying around in that than I ever had running around with on horseback! For some reason horseback is just horrid!
It's more a shame that I didn't have it for that long at all!
Now Water Treatment Plant might have a little more people treading through it.
The reason for this is because you can get both a Red Key Card in the locked loot room and there is a chance for The Chinook to drop a crate at Water Treatment Plant. If so then you can get quite stacked on loot very early in the game.
However there didn't really drop crate here it was always Airfield!
Again, taking the carefull route is always suggested!
Once again the Blue Room went as smooth as it could ever go!
Not a single soul in sight, I think most people now do Oil and Cargo so other than that people don't really run monuments with high tier gear, which is a little sad!
Nobody even wants to try out pvp on this server! Not even after I call them out, for some reason they fear it!
Launch Site!
I finally had everything I needed!
Or so I thought!
Now this is a place you need to be carefull of! There is a Bradley Tank roaming around and it is hungry for kills, it won't hesitate to clap a few rounds towards you so be sure to stay in cover as much as possible.
The Bradley Tank isn't the only thing you need to fear! The possibility of players being in the area is huge and that's not all! The place is highly irradiated! If you don't have a Hazmat Suit on then you are bound to die a slow and gruesome death!
I Made It Inside!
Now for Launch Site you need all three key cards in order to run it, if you don't have any key card, because in order to get the Red Key Card you need to get the Blue Key Card there is no other way unless you manage to kill a player or well you can buy them but that isn't any fun!
But if you already have the key card you only need Green and Red to get into the big building! The puzzle is a little more complex so be sure to watch that part of the video!
This time I thought I had it!
Haha, Damn What The Hell Was I Thinking!
Making it to the top was so much harder than I first thought it would be!
It was more than tedious! I had to be on the lookout for scientists all the while healing myself up with bandages to keep me from dying and that didn't even keep me from dying!
I reckoned that the first time I failed I only took bandages and well now the second time I brought some med sticks but I didn't bring nearly enough, next time I'll bring double the amount of meds! That oughta keep me alive right!
Remember To Keep On Gaming Like You've Only Got One Life Left!
