Never Like This.
Well Hello There Horsepower Lovers!!
This Is Odd.
We rarely get something like this... The situation I mean not the transmission, we've been getting quite a few of these transmissions! Quite a few I do also think we might be getting a great deal more in the years to come! A great deal more!
To top it off with a nice cherry on top, these 6r80's weren't discontinued but rather superseded... For a while at-least, see Ford released the new pickups with the 10-speed 10r80 and that... well those have since been removed from the pickups and are now back to the older 6R80.... So the newest of the new rangers with the latest face life, well they are back to the old transmission which means we might be getting another two, three perhaps four years if not longer on those 6R80's.
That means we can invest a little money into them?
What I meant with "This is an odd one" is that we've gotten just the transmission, normally people bring these in for diagnosis and then repairs, I don't think we've ever gotten one of these dropped off at the door!
I gave it a nice smackingly beautifull water power wash and now I am going to rip it up like it's never been before! Most likely has never been!
Why They Always Do This?
People are whack, seriously whack?
Once they have removed the transmission (I'm speaking about this one) they drop it too hard on the ground, I know it's heavy guys but you've literally taken it down 97% just lower it the rest of the 3 % and not drop it that hard!
This means a bill increase on this one as we would have to replace the sump pan now.
No I am not going to hit it with a hammer! No!
It's hard to see I know but it's there and it's real deep as well! Fortunately there is a filter in the way for protection. Fortunately! It'll crush the filter before it damages anything at all!
Nice hey!
Well Damn, Colour Me Intrigued!
I am really!
She's as dry as a fiddle and cleaner than... well I don't know what but fuckk! This is something!
There also is no filter, none of that! Nope nada!
I wonder if this guy removed the sump pan himself doing a drainage and cleaning off the magnet and all that? I wonder? Or did he drain the oil, replace the filter and hoped that the vehicle would suddenly be in a working condition again?
People think that oil changes can fix a problem! Laughs!
Can you see it now? Can you?
Damn I really hope you can because I tried my best to get the most clear picture.
Check out the two blocks on the lower right side of the picture with the two circle's inside of them, those lines are hella bent! They are supposed to be straight!
This one is real bad! I wonder what the owners are expecting by cleaning everything off? We do rebuilds not just fix problems? Laughs! We do rebuilds! So whether they wanted one thing fixed and not a rebuild a rebuild is what they'll get!
Questionable.
I don't often question some of the stuff that was brought in but heck!
Notice how clean the tables are? Yeahp! Now even if you drain these and leave them standing open to drain for a day! Or even a week heck a month, it will still have oil in it when doing a teardown! Quite a lot as well!
Too much! Not like this, not at all like this!
What the heck is going on here!
Did someone already do a teardown on this one? Did someone? Might be? Might always be the case! If so they didn't do a bad asssembly job, although they couldn't find the fault!
Bushes, always bushes. You think they are good then they're not!
