Well Hello There Fellow Technicians And Hivers!

We've Got The Go Ahead!

Finally! This client has been driving us nuts! Nuts I tell you! On the phone trying to contact us on a daily! Even after we told him we can't just go ahead and work on it without the go ahead! I mean we already tore it down!

But finally the day has arrived for this puppy to be let out into the wild again! Oh boy oh boy I am not in the mood for this build! Not in the mood at all!

But she has got to get done with otherwise we might as well close our doors if we don't want to work on these tricky ones!

Sorted For Business!

Oh hell yeah! That's probably the only fun part about this entire job! It's nice to pack and sort everything before you put it all back together again! The thing is that there are so many parts on this one you just can't have it any other way.

How are you going to grab a bunch of bolts from the bucket and expect it to be the right ones? Not going to lie this one did keep me busy! Real damn busy!
Okay well the bolts are still in the bucket but once I've got the transmission lined up I'll turn to sorting the bolts!

It Does Look Rat But It Works!

As a precaution we started doing this with almost all of the Fords, especially the smaller vehicles like the Kuga and the EcoSport and such. The reason is that those grounds rust up and end up not making proper contact and sometimes... just sometimes when the conditions are right it tends to mess with the transmissions and all those!

Now I'm not exactly happy with scratching the paint off but for the safety of the vehicle and the passengers we do it. Might not be the exact right way but it's done!

There are two more of which I didn't get photos off, no need really.

Yeah Yeah!

Oh damn I like looking at it and seeing that almost shiney metal sticking out! At-least the difference is very noticeable, although I think the motor was done some time ago and now the transmission.

Seems a lot like something that I would not invest money into! But that is besides the point here! What I am actually trying to say is that I got her in her place and at this point I am almost done with mostly everything on the underside! Oh yeah that feels really great to say the least of it!

It kept me real busy but we're not out of the woods yet! Not yet!

Almost There!

Now that I've done everything on the underside of the vehicle except for filling it with oil! Now I can turn to everything at the topside, things like the link, the battery, the airbox, the computer. Everything has to be fitted back and once that is done we can start her up and give her a testing!

Oh dang I have to add I wont mind for one of these! This guy has heated seats and everything in his car! What a man! Or sissy? Laughs either or we've got to get this out of the workshop!
