A Favour For A Favour?

Well Hello There Fellow Technicians And Hivers!

A Favour For A Favour.

I suppose these are necessary as well even if I don't think so. We do get favours in return of-course, we really do, but more than often we get bigger jobs and not jobs that are paid for. If this vehicle has some sort of problem now it'll end up being ours and that for a favour?

I am doubtfull, I really am.

At-least It's Not A Bunch Now.

I've got the easier share of the work for now and with that I am contempt.

We will be changing up a couple of things, mainly the plate and the solenoids. We wont be fitting new parts either, they'll just be parts that we deemed okay to sell as second hand. Fairly untested stuff as well, but I am hoping for the best here.

The plate I know for a fact runs, the solenoids not so much.

That Part Is Done.

That did take some time I ain't going to lie, but we are here now and this is the fun part, to assemble these shiny pieces!

I sometimes wonder whether the mechanic that installs these things on the otherside even wash their hands because clasping the thing. To they even adhere to the torque settings laid out for this thing.

A Slight Change.

Okay so the actual torque settings for all of these including the bolts that connects the valve body to the transmission must be at 9 newtons but I am going to hit them with a 10 since the techie on the otherside will likely only have a wrench starting at 10.

The reason for this is that if I torque mine at 9 and the next guy torques the other 9 bolts not inserted at 10 then the bolts that I had at 9 will no longer be at 9 it would drop, not much though but slightly and slightly can make the difference between crossing the line right!

New Stuff For The Kits.

This is even more convenient, we use to never get these fine things in the kits, they had to be ordered separately, what a bummer I know right!

Well now the kits are even more complete, although there are some problems with the bushes as of lately, the internal bushes of the transmissions. Although I don't think it would be a long found problem!

It was fun adding these as well!

Take note this is not a how to guide, merely myself talking about the work I do and my thoughts around certain things.

To everyone who made it this far into my post Thank you for the read and the support.
