Week #218: The Reason Why I Misbehaved!

It's finally the weekend, so today, I am pleased to participate in another writing prompt initiated by @galenkp.

For the following topic, I have decided to choose one:

Behaved badly...Tell us a time in which you behaved badly, why you did it and what the repercussions of it were to you or others. Use your own photos.

There are moments when I misbehave—but not because I want to; instead, it's because someone invalidates my feelings and emotions.

It is usual for us to have "bosses" at work, but regrettably, these bosses ought to be the ones who set an example of justice and morality; instead, they are the reason we lose motivation at work.

I am not saying that I am a perfect employee, but I ensure I finish all the tasks organized and on time. I also ensure I can teach my students in a way that surpasses their needs.

But it is so sad that despite all your hard work and efforts, favoritism exists.

Do you also get sick of being taken advantage of and underappreciated at work? You're not alone. I am subjected to unjust treatment at work because I prefer particular people.

This favoritism can result in a toxic work environment, low morale for the entire team, and frustration and resentment among those who have been mistreated.

I misbehaved severely when I realized that I felt ignored and depressed because they didn't think I was as capable as I was despite all of my hard work and efforts.

I've started passing requirements and reports so late, which has caused delays at work.

My productivity and engagement are negatively impacted when my hard work and efforts go unappreciated.

I'm mistreated and no longer believe in my coworkers or the company culture. This has made it difficult for me to collaborate and work as a team, which has hurt the success of my career.

The thing that hurt me the most was that people were starting to notice me and quickly form opinions about me because of the horrible way I've been acting toward everything.

However, after considering everything, I don't have to win their approval or demonstrate my value to people who don't believe in me.

I understood that my career dreams stemmed from my love of teaching and desire to impact and enhance my students' futures positively.

I feel better as long as I try my hardest and do my most challenging work, regardless of whether they notice all of my efforts.

I've decided to get back on track and give everything I do my all—not just for other people but also for myself and those who support me.

I am aware that only some people find me appealing. Some people will feel threatened by my presence or irritated by me, even if I always try to be friendly and kind to everyone and mean no harm to anyone. I'll face criticism from others for my actions, words, and overall identity. That's alright, and I know that I must never allow the dislike I receive from others to prevent me from succeeding, shining, and being who I am.

This serves as a reminder never to allow someone to take away your light simply because they believe it is something you should never have.

This is for those who feel like they are nobody's favorite, for those who believe that no matter how hard they try, they are still invisible, and for those who think that because they are strong and independent, people take them for granted.

I want you to know how wonderful you are. I adore you because you never give up on life, even in the face of the most agonizing circumstances in which you feel that no one sees you favorably and that you are never understood for who you are meant to be. Still, I wish you the life you deserve and the fulfillment of the dreams you have been pursuing with prayer and hard work.

I hope you will gradually learn to care for yourself to ensure you never feel alone. Even though you have yourself, there are moments when you feel like you are facing challenges alone. I hope you will be understood and heard someday, and until then, take care of yourself.

You are remarkable. Keep shining!

I share your view, in every institution favouritism is unfortunately in force.
That is very depressing because I should value your efficiency and human quality at all times.
But there are situations that get out of hand, and we must try to ensure that these issues do not affect our being.
Being confident in our abilities makes a difference.
What people will say will be broad and mostly negative because it is very common for people to judge by the cover without knowing the background.
But everything that is done with love will be rewarded at the least expected moment.
Regards.

Thank you so much for this wonderful message of yours. Favoritism really sucks because it's really affected me before; it was so demotivating and led me to so much unproductive lifestyle. But then I realized that there are still people who believe in me, and I have nothing to prove to this kind of people; I am working for the dream I prayed for before, so no matter what, I promise to do my best now.
Thank you for dropping by 😇

It's easy to blame others but they never acknowledge that the problem is also on their part. Sad to hear about this. Ang nakakalungkot pa lalo is when you open this to them, they will take it as something negative at mas lalo ka pang pag-iinitan. Di lang sa work ganto, kahit sa classroom palang, with my classmates naeexperience ko na

Tama po, sobrang nakaka-lungkot isipin when we do our best in everything, but they never recognize it and appreciate it. But then again, I realized that no matter what, we have to do our best not just for ourselves but for the people who believe in us. So keep shining!
