Loh #176: An Alpha Woman Is Unstoppable!

Since International Women's Day is being observed this month, it's appropriate that I respond to the following question in the Ladies Of Hive Community Contest given by @irenenavarroart:

1️⃣ March is Women's Month and we would like you to reflect beyond the stereotypes about what you like about being a woman — from the depths of your being, focus on those characteristics or personal reasons.

Gender stereotypes and cultural expectations often impede women and girls from realizing their full potential worldwide. Girls and women are denied the right to an education, pressured to marry young, excluded from decision-making processes, and denied access to opportunities for earning a living in many developing nations.

However, in today's world, women often have to prove to themselves that they can work independently and assert their abilities.

I was thrown into many situations by the world at a very young age, which helped me become a strong woman who battled on my own on life's battlefield.

I'm just trying to live my life with faith and perseverance, hoping that life will work out well for me one day.

I learn to live like an Alpha Woman.

Although talking about alpha males and how to be one is more common, being an alpha female has just as much significance. An alpha woman is a leader in the workplace, at home, or among friends and peers. You can develop your leadership and alpha status in every aspect of your life, even if you are a born leader.

I am a true Alpha Woman...

I have a clear life vision, am ambitious, and know what I want to accomplish.

I was a typical Type A Alpha Female for about eight years that I worked. I attempted to alter who I was to fit in at work, where men predominated. I was ruthless and competitive; I had to be to succeed, which transformed me.

The last few years have made me realize I will always have high standards. I will always aspire to achieve and perform to the best of my abilities. I no longer have to compete to make that happen, though. It's all about teamwork and assisting other women in realizing their goals.

It doesn't follow that I can't succeed just because another woman does. I should be pleased with her achievements. I've been here for a while now, but this place is better than the last one.

Right now, encouraging and uplifting women and girls is my mission. I want women to live whole, happy, balanced lives, be driven and ambitious, and have goals—and I want other women to support them in doing so.

This is only possible if women cease being so mean to one another and start encouraging and developing one another.

What do I like about being an Alpha Woman?

They are strong, self-assured women. Their ability to solve problems with intelligence and intellect is the source of their confidence.

A mindset that prioritizes ambition and pride is what it means to be an Alpha Woman. They aspire to a contented and wholesome work/life equilibrium. A true Alpha Woman prioritizes the needs of her coworkers, friends, and family without compromising their morals or self-respect.

This is what I want for a woman: We are adaptable and capable of being alpha females who have accepted our desire to be leaders. We are gifted, highly driven, and self-assured.
