End Of The School Year: Checking of Forms and Graduation Day!

Maintaining a healthy balance between your personal and professional lives may get more challenging and complex as your career advances.

"The gift of balance in your life—may you find the balance of life, time for work but also time for play. Too much of one thing creates stress that no one needs in their life." —Catherine Pulsifer, Jr.

Working as a teacher for almost six years, I've encountered challenges managing my time and life.

One of the most important aspects of my job as a public school teacher is reviewing forms at the conclusion of the academic year.

The public school teacher explains that the Department of Education mandates the use of school forms, which are used to ensure quality reporting, compile student records, and evaluate performance. When preparing DepEd forms, we must be extremely meticulous with each student individually because the information must be accurately entered, adequately signed, and readable. Given that it will serve as the DepEd's permanent record, we must exercise caution.

When it comes to verifying forms, this is a significant time. We must exercise caution when handling any data encoded in the DepEd Learner's Information System, also known as the LIS. Form 1, or the DepEd School Form 1, is a type of school form that includes a student's name, date of birth, address, and ethnic group, among other essential information. It also contains pertinent information about the student's past academic achievements and schools attended, among other things. The DepEd School Form 5, the DepEd School Form 5 (SF5) are forms that are essential for tracking and evaluating students' advancement from Kindergarten to Grade 12 education. Form 137, Learner's Permanent Academic Record, DepEd School Form 10 (SF10) Learner's Permanent Academic Record Form 137, Learner's Permanent Academic Record, is a permanent record of students' academic progress. And their birth certificates, of course.

It would have been a fantastic accomplishment if we hadn't discovered some errors in verifying our students' crucial information. We have a system called "school-based checking of forms," where the teachers and the head of the school check the forms jointly before having the "Division-Based Checking Of Forms."

The Day of Graduation!

We'll battle, stumble, and fall short. We are going to flourish and rise above the ashes. As graduation draws near, we will reflect on everything that transpired. We have had a problematic and drawn-out journey to graduation, but we have no regrets.

Graduation days bring about something. For many graduates, it's a day filled with mixed feelings—joy and sorrow. After facing many years of obstacles in life and working hard to achieve, they are pleased to have completed something noteworthy. On the actual graduation day, their faces display their happiness. It's a sense of accomplishment and happiness!

However, there is also sadness because they are starting their new journey outside the school campus and into the business world, meaning that today will be their last chance to see many classmates and friends. I have observed this pattern of life in general, though this may need to be revised. For all the graduates, graduation day evokes a range of feelings, including happiness and sorrow.

Transformation is the facet of student growth that they will be missing most. Teachers enjoy watching a student's growth over four years in this way. They can compare it to observing an infant learning to walk, a toddler learning to crawl, or an adolescent learning to run wildly. Sometimes, there's a lot of work that goes into it that nobody knows about.

After much hardship—which isn't always personal or academic—I finally see this person grinning and feeling good about themselves. Helping students cope with educational and social skills is an enriching experience teachers feel prepares them for life. It truly is a sense of experiencing the maturity of a student and a young adult.

The students of the class of 2024 will be the thing that teachers will miss the most: the highs and lows, the laughter and tears of life. As educators, their goal is to put all of their acquired knowledge to use in everyday situations. Make use of all the tools you laboriously crafted.

"To follow their dream" and exert all their effort, even if they don't think they can."

Teachers want their students to stay open-minded and communicate positively throughout their life experiences after graduation.
