A Time To Celebrate: My Best Friends At Work!
Finally, vacation is on!
"A vacation helps to relieve stress and boredom, gives us a change of scenery, provides us with adventure, and helps to bring us closer to the people in our lives." – E. S. Woods.
At last, I spent time with my coworkers.
Making friends at work is still possible, even though it's not the ideal setting for friendships. This is particularly valid if the same company has employed you for several years.
Friends from work can be a great resource. They can help you pass the time, fight boredom, or get over a rough patch at work. Therefore, it makes sense if you would like to express your gratitude to them with a gift. It doesn't hurt to include a quote that best captures your friendship if that is precisely what you intend to do.
The idea of a "best friend at work" extends beyond superficial acquaintances or even close friends. This is a coworker with whom you have a stronger relationship. They are someone you look forward to seeing every day, confide in regularly, and have complete faith in. This relationship is about genuine camaraderie, mutual support, and understanding—it's about more than just making the workday more enjoyable.
After a few months, we began to see each other more frequently. Together, we work our lengthy 8-hour shifts. We were still feeling tense and uncomfortable with each other. I don't know how it started, but over time, we grew closer. We never discussed anything but work. It eventually devolved into a conversation about everything. And it's great to hang out with people outside of work. We have some exciting plans coming up, which also excites me.
It's lovely to have a bond like this because we can finally eat the food we have wanted for so long. We cooked some food we truly missed due to our busy schedules and had no time to cook.
We are serving roasted triggerfish (papakol), beef steak, ensaladang pako, "pinakbet," "tinolang tahong," and roasted meat.We also had the most exciting time playing videoke and singing together after lunch.
The food, the singing, and the conversations make everything perfect. Having friends at work is also incredibly fulfilling, as everything becomes simple and joyful.
Relationships are meaningful because they give us a sense of community and increase our motivation and productivity. Investing in a relationship makes it much easier to ask for advice or share feedback with someone.
Work can become repetitive. No matter what kind of work you do, you will probably eventually burn out at the office. Compared to employees without friends, those with friends are less likely to burn out. Employees who are not burnt out are happier and more productive.
Having a work buddy you can count on through good times, and bad is essential—someone who cares and has your back. Regardless of where or when they work, these genuine friendships help employees feel more invested in their work and increase their effectiveness and sustainability.
My life at work is made easier and happier by my closest friends, for whom I am incredibly thankful.
It's happier talaga if you are close woth your work mates no, you will not just treat them as colleagues but a "friend." I haven't really experience that kind of thing, di ako jobless ay, huhu
Yes po Ate, swerte ko po at maganda ang work place ko, at siyempre mga workmates ko po. Soon ate, let's pray na magka work kana po 🤗
