Shadow Hunters Contest — Round 221. Bicycle and other shadows
This spring was cold but sunny, with lots of clear bright days and lots of beautiful and varied shadows, which increased the visual contrast and made the spring cityscapes even more beautiful.
This round, my attention was focused primarily on the athletic shadows. I was on my way to the Tauride Garden for a walk, and on the boulevard I encountered two bicyclists, the shadows of their bicycles gracefully completing the composition.
I noticed the gates hospitably open, so I decided to look into the courtyard in search of interesting details. Normally this gate to the courtyard is closed, but it was accessible because of the renovations to the house. I also found shadows in the courtyard: shadows of the climbing gym equipment, and powerful shadows of the table tennis tables.
I returned to the boulevard and immediately found new shadows: shadows of trees, shadows of lanterns, shadows of benches... It was as if my eyes had opened wider, I began to notice many more shadows.
Even more shadows were waiting for me in the Tauride Garden. I immediately noticed a beautiful bicycle shadow: two small bicycles were parked on the path. Their owners had fled to the lawn, to the monument to the Russian poet Sergei Yesenin.
During the walk I photographed many other shadows as well. There were so many shadows that I could have done a whole photo shoot of shadows without leaving one place.
