I think it is safe to say that both the United States and China look to lead the world in AI. The question is who gets there first.
Then we have the AI race among companies. Things are certainly heating up.

That's a tough question man. With China's fast growing infrastructure and America's dominated AI companies 🤔 I'd say a tie if another country like European countries gets involved we'll have an AI Mexican standoff🤣
