My hive beginning

Greetings people

In life there's always a starting point, nobody just flies to where they are today. So today I'll be talking about my beginning in this amazing platform called hive.

I never thought I could be a writer today or should I say blogger😏 the name blogger sounds very big to my ears.

My hive journey

I heard about hive from my cousin @young-boss-karin, I asked her to put me through, to tell me how it works she told me some things about it and then referred to a higher authority that he would be in a better position to teach me, I was patient cause I know I'll be traveling soon and I'll get to meet the higher authority to put me through on it.

So when I was traveling to kebbi state for NYSC orientation camp, I stopped at Kaduna state, and then I met the higher authority my cousin @belemo who came to pick me up at the train station with his friend, there and then while he was driving I started asking him questions about the platform, cause I remember @young-boss-karin telling me to disturb him so he can put me through on it.

When we got to the house, he brought out his laptop and was showing us things about hive, he said a lot of things about hive, it shows I was very much interested even before meeting him, later that day I tried to register but the traffic on the site was much so he assisted and created an account for me via loefinance.

After setting up my account he said it was time to write my introductory post, that I shouldn't be scared, I should just have fun with it and express myself. So that night I was battling with my introductory post, thinking of coming out with the best of which I knew I tried.

After writing my introductory post I had a lot of positive comments in the comment box, and I felt welcomed that alone gave me a positive vibe about the platform.

And he said I should try my possible best to be posting at least three times a week, that I can write about anything, and I don't have to be boxed.
When I went camping I try as much as I can to come up with a post even with the stress at camp I still made sure I write at least a post in a week.

After my introductory post, I was still getting few likes and comments on my post. There was a time I made a mistake I wrote a post about my journey to the kebbi state and I posted it in the leofinance community, then immediately someone commented on my post and was like this community is not for such post.
That comment made me explore other communities.

As time goes by I become sluggish, most times I will log in to see people's posts without reading them and just like them then log out. Often I'll log in and see people's posts, looking at how their posts getting many likes and I wasn't, I wasn't satisfied with the likes I was getting so that alone made me quit hive.

Then one faithful day I decided to log in that was when I saw my cousin @belemo and his wife @wolfofnostreet featured in a video where they shared their hive experience, how they started, and their advice to those that are new on the platform. After watching that video I made up my mind to grow myself in the hive.
Later that day I came across the newbies initiative application post so I decided to apply, and by his grace, I was accepted to be a part of the newbie initiative program which was a dream come true for me.

Getting to learn more about the platform, currently, I'm no longer where I used to be. Right now I can tell that I've made progress so far.
Special thanks to @starstrings01 the founder of the newbie initiative, thank you for this amazing privilege given to me to be a part of the initiative.

I would like to invite @otuyanancy, @treasuree and @mayowaemmanuel to be a part of this contest.

Thank you for reading
