How was your weekend?
I am overjoyed because today is the weekend, which I look forward to the most during the week. I hope you all have a nice day with the best. I have had a hectic week with course projects and appointments to congratulate newly graduated engineers. I was invited to go camping with friends staying at Do Do's house. I used to study English here as well. We began preparing for the trip and completed it in two days and one night. We chose Vung Bot - Gian Bi, Hoa Bac as our destination this time.

Prepare for the camping trip

My two brothers and I were assigned to go to the market and prepare food to bring back. We went to the market I mentioned in the previous article because it was close to where we lived. Because there were so many people this time, we had to buy enough food for everyone. We planned and prepared menus ahead of time. Finally, we settled on charcoal-grilled pork and chicken, served with grilled vegetables, fruit, and beer. 🍻

After preparing, we began riding our motorcycles to the camping site. It took nearly an hour to get there. We stopped on the way to buy filtered water and beer to bring with us. Today is extremely hot, with an average temperature of 37 degrees Celsius. We all apply sunscreen to protect our skin in this heat if we don't want to turn into a roasted chicken. Lol 🤣 🤣 🤣

💎 We had to pull over on the slope and walk down to the stream's edge. Then wade through the water to the other side of the island. We were all soaked as we waded through the fast and deep water. Fortunately, the furniture was completely dry, so no damage was done. 💎

We began setting up tents and preparing firewood for the kitchen to cook meat as soon as we arrived. Our new little boy is quite mischievous but still very cute, as evidenced by the photos below.

New little friend

This camp had a total of 11 participants, including an 11-year-old boy and his mother. This friend speaks a combination of Vietnamese and English. The boy lives and studies in Vietnam with his parents, and he is fluent in both languages. He is mischievous because he is young, but he is also very funny and enjoys making people laugh. 🤣

Wonderful time spent together

We all gathered to prepare dinner. Grill the meat and then sit down to eat it as a group. I am the main chef for today. The first batch of hot grilled meat became out of the oven. After an afternoon of driving and wading, almost everyone was hungry by this point. We invited each other to play cards after a full dinner. Every game has its own set of rules, so whoever loses must have the winner smear the pot on his face. You won't believe our expressions after the game. They are extremely amusing.😆
