[ENG/ESP] Touring Pampatar.
Greetings dear friends of #wednesdaywalk!
I want to share with you a tour that I did with my family taking advantage of the vacations. Thanks to the space created by @tattoodjay, which allows us to know and enjoy beautiful places from different parts of the world.

Quiero compartir con ustedes un recorrido que hice junto a mi familia aprovechando los días de vacaciones. Gracias al espacio creado por @tattoodjay, que nos permite conocer y disfrutar de hermosos lugares de diferentes partes del mundo.
Our steps took us to Pampatar, an extraordinarily beautiful coastal town where its history and colorfulness envelop you. As we entered José M. Barga street, we passed by the Castle of San Carlo de Borromeo, which I will visit another time because it is a beautiful museum, when I visit it I will surely show you.
Nuestros pasos nos llevaron a Pampatar, un poblado costero extraordinariamente hermoso donde su historia y colorido te envuelven. Al adentrarnos en la calle José M. Barga, pasamos por el Castillo de San Carlo de Borromeo, que visitaré en otro momento porque es un hermoso museo, cuando lo visite seguro les mostraré.
Next to it, there is an amphitheater where all the young people plan their best graduation events. I remember when my son planned his high school graduation with his friends; it was a very exciting moment for everyone.
Seguido de él, se encuentra un anfiteatro donde todos los jóvenes planifican sus mejores eventos de graduación. Recuerdo cuando mi hijo planificó con sus amigos su graduación de bachiller; fue un momento muy emocionante para todos.
We continued our tour passing by El Fondeadero, a restaurant that offers a great variety of seafood dishes and excellent service.
Continuamos nuestro recorrido pasando por el Fondeadero, un restaurante que ofrece una gran variedad de platos con mariscos y tiene una excelente atención.
Until we reach our first stop, the Mirador of the bay of Pampatar.
It has two statues facing the sea: a man looking at the horizon and the Virgin, patron saint of the island.
I love this viewpoint; it has been a few years since I visited it. From there I could admire the little beach of Pampatar, which now has some outdoor restaurants where you can enjoy the sea and taste delicious fresh fish. The sea in this beach is transparent and has a beautiful blue color; I would stay there all day contemplating the sea, something that relaxes me infinitely.
Hasta llegar a nuestra primera parada, el Mirador de la bahía de Pampatar.
Tiene frente al mar dos estatuas: un hombre que mira al horizonte y la Virgen patrona de la Isla.
Me encanta este mirador; hace algunos años que no lo visitaba. Desde allí pude admirar la playita de Pampatar, la cual ahora cuenta con algunos restaurantes al aire libre donde se puede disfrutar del mar y degustar un delicioso pescado fresco. El mar en esta playa es transparente y tiene un color azul hermoso; me quedaría allí todo el día contemplando el mar, algo que me relaja infinitamente.
Between memories and photographs we continued our tour to Fortín La Caranta, where only the base of the original fort built with large stones remains. Years ago it was remodeled and turned into a viewpoint so that anyone who wishes to admire a good view could approach it, and that was precisely what we did on this occasion.
Entre recuerdos y fotografías continuamos nuestro recorrido hasta el Fortín La Caranta, donde solo queda la base del fuerte original construida con grandes piedras. Años atrás fue remodelado y convertido en un mirador para que todo aquel que desee admirar una buena vista pudiera acercarse, y eso fue precisamente lo que hicimos nosotros en esta ocasión.
The view from the fort took us to the beach La Caranta, from where we could observe the ranchería of some fishermen supplying Cabas trucks with fresh fish, to be transported to other places and even to the mainland that are those who have less opportunity to eat a fresh fish, here the islanders only have to go down to a wainscot to get a good fresh fish.
La vista desde el fortín nos llevó a la playa La Caranta, desde donde pudimos observar la ranchería de algunos pescadores abasteciendo camiones Cabas de pescado fresco , para ser transportado a otros lugares e incluso a tierra firme que son los que menos oportunidad tienen de comer un pescado fresco, acá los Isleños solo tenemos que bajar a un arrimadero para conseguir un buen pescado fresco.
In addition, from the fort we were also able to see the dock where the boats are stored after returning from a long day of fishing.
Además, desde el fortín también pudimos apreciar el arrimadero donde guardan los botes al regresar tras una larga jornada de pesca.
Some of these small boats were full of pelicans attracted by the smell of fish; these birds know they are close to their favorite food.
Algunas de estas embarcaciones pequeñas estaban llenas de pelícanos atraídos por el olor del pescado; estos pájaros saben que están cerca de su comida favorita.
We loved this tour because it brought back great memories and we were able to contemplate beautiful landscapes. Among them, the diverse tonality of the sea stood out; it fascinates me to see how it merges with the sky creating a perfect contrast.
Este recorrido nos encantó porque nos trajo grandes recuerdos y pudimos contemplar paisajes hermosos. Entre ellos, destacaba la diversa tonalidad del mar; me fascina ver cómo este se fusiona con el cielo creando un contraste perfecto.

Hermoso!!! Me encanta la playa de Panpatar , recuerdo cuando estuve hace años por allá , recuerdo esos cañones , había un largo muelle y una colina alta dónde se veía el mar , creo recordar esos detalles , es que esa Islas Margaritas es tan hermosa y tiene tantas playas , gracias hermana por mostrarnos ❤️❤️❤️
