[ENG/ESP] Discovery Wednesday at La Mira
Greetings, dear hives and friends of #wednesdaywalk . Once again, I join you in this weekly meeting, thanks to the wonderful initiative of @tattoodjay who has created this unique space where we can share and discover the charming corners of various places.
Today, my awakening was very early, as my presence was required at the Sunsol chain. With enthusiasm, I set out on my way, blessed by a weather that invited me to be part of the landscape.
Saludos, queridos hives y amigos de #wednesdaywalk . Una vez más, me uno a ustedes en este encuentro semanal, gracias a la maravillosa iniciativa de @tattoodjay que ha creado este espacio único donde podemos compartir y descubrir los rincones encantadores de diversos lugares.
Hoy, mi despertar fue bien temprano, pues mi presencia era requerida en la cadena Sunsol. Con entusiasmo, emprendí mi camino, bendecida por un clima que me invitaba a ser parte del paisaje.
Knowing that my task would be brief, I took my bathing suit with me, just in case the sea called me to dive for a while. Passing by Playa el Agua, I stopped briefly, just long enough to feast my eyes and capture the beauty in photographs, though without time for a dip.
Sabiendo que mi tarea sería breve, llevé conmigo mi traje de baño, por si acaso el mar me llamaba a sumergirse un rato. Al pasar por la Playa el Agua, me detuve brevemente, lo suficiente para deleitar la vista y capturar la belleza en fotografías, aunque sin tiempo para un chapuzón.
The sea has always fascinated and relaxed me; today it looked magnificent, a perfect symphony of sand, waves and dancing palm trees swaying gently in the wind.
El mar siempre me ha fascinado y relajado; hoy lucía magnífico, una sinfonía perfecta de arena, olas y palmeras danzantes que se movían suavemente con el viento.
I did my job at Sunsol, stamping the invoice. Before heading back home. With no more work obligations, I decided to venture into the town of La Mira, located in the town of Antolín del Campo, in the state of Nueva Esparta, Margarita Island, a place I had never been to before. I had been told that, ascending a hill, I would come across a panoramic view of the sea, and with that in mind, I set out to explore.
Cumplí con mi cometido en Sunsol, estampando el sello en la factura. Antes de emprender el regreso. Sin más obligaciones laborales, decidí aventurarme por la localidad de La Mira ubicada en la locadidad de Antolín del Campo, en el estado Nueva Esparta, Isla Margarita, es un lugar no transitado por mí con anterioridad. Me habían comentado que, ascendiendo una colina, me toparía con una panorámica del mar, y con ese objetivo, me lancé a la exploración.
I confess that destiny played hide and seek with me, as I found myself passing by the same point not once, but twice, hahaha! I crossed by a motel that honored the town with its name, but I found no soul to consult, so I kept going uphill.
Confieso que el destino jugó al escondite conmigo, pues me vi pasando por el mismo punto no una, sino dos veces, ¡jajaja! Crucé junto a un motel que homenajeaba a la localidad con su nombre, pero no encontré alma alguna a quien consultar, así que seguí adelante, cuesta arriba.
The road took me to its end, and there I found myself, absorbed and excited, before the spectacle of the sea stretching for miles in the distance.
On Isla Margarita, even from the modest height of a hill, one can admire the beaches that hours before I had stepped on, now transformed into a living painting before my eyes.
La carretera me llevó hasta su fin, y allí me encontré, absorta y emocionada, ante el espectáculo del mar extendiéndose a kilómetros de distancia.
En Isla Margarita, incluso desde la modesta altura de un cerro, uno puede admirar las playas que horas antes había pisado, ahora transformadas en un cuadro viviente ante mis ojos.
I returned home with a heart full of joy, having fulfilled my duties and discovered a treasure that filled me with emotion. That is why I wanted to bring you this little piece of my day.
Regresé a casa con el corazón henchido de alegría, habiendo cumplido con mis deberes y descubierto un tesoro que me llenó de emoción. Por eso, he querido traerles este pedacito de mi día.
