[ENG/ESP] Celebrating Our Son's Birthday: Sushi, and Companny.
Dear Hives and friends of the #familyandfriends community, I hope you are having a great weekend.
Today I am pleased to share with you a special moment in the life of our little family. Our son's birthday is one of the most significant events we have, and celebrating it together is something we value deeply.
As is our tradition, at midnight we give him his presents and sing to him, making him blow out his first candle of the day as we believe that the first wish he may make, on the day, can come true.
Seeing the excitement in his eyes as he unwraps one of his presents is unparalleled, not to mention that it is in his nature to be super expressive.
Queridos Hives y amigos de la comunidad de #familyand friends, espero que estén teniendo un fin de semana excelente.
Hoy me complace compartir con ustedes un momento especial en la vida de nuestra pequeña familia. El cumpleaños de nuestro hijo es uno de los acontecimientos más significativos que tenemos , y celebrarlo juntos es algo que valoramos profundamente.
Como es nuestra tradición, a la medianoche le entregamos sus regalos y le cantamos, haciéndolo soplar su primera vela del día ya que consideramos que ese primer deseo que pueda pedir, en el día se le puede hacer realidad.
Ver la emoción en sus ojos al desenvolvernos uno de sus regalos es inigualable, sin dejar de comentar que es la naturaleza de el ser súper expresivo.
In the morning, we surprise him with a breakfast of his choice, full of love and good wishes.
For this birthday we decided to do something very different, as friends always come, we sing and dance, but this time, we decided to give him an even bigger surprise, because whenever he has a birthday we are always immersed in buying sweets, preparing treats and snacks, and we don't really enjoy this day.
So we planned a special tour of places we knew he would love. Making him look casual, we headed to La Vela Shopping Centre.
Por la mañana, lo sorprendemos con un desayuno a su elección, lleno de cariño y buenos deseos.
Para este cumpleaños decidimos hacer algo muy diferente, ya que siempre vienen los amigos cantamos y bailamos, pero esta vez, decidimos darle una sorpresa aún mayor, porque siempre que cumple estamos inmerso en comprar dulces preparar enseñas y pasapalos, y no disfrutamos realmente este día.
Así que planeamos un recorrido especial por lugares que sabíamos que le encantarían. Haciéndole ver como si fuera casual, nos dirigimos al Centro Comercial La Vela.

First, we stopped by PC Planet, where we found the keyboard he had been wanting and we know he plans to buy soon. We went in and bought it for him, and his face when he received it was priceless. But that wasn't all, taking advantage of his excitement we continued walking and in the blink of an eye, we found ourselves in front of Bonsai Sushis.*
Primero, pasamos por PC Planet, donde encontramos el teclado que él había estado deseando y sabemos que tiene planificado comprarlo próximamente. Entramos y se lo compramos, su rostro al recibirlo fue impagable. Pero eso no era todo, aprovechando su emoción continuamos caminando y en un abrir y cerrar de ojos, nos encontramos frente a Bonsai Sushis.
The aroma wafting through the door was incredible and the charming decor greeted us.
El aroma que salía por su puerta era increíble y la decoración encantadora nos recibió.
The offer of the day included octopus and lobster, so we ordered our favourite sushi dishes, our son did not leave from one surprise to another, it gave us joy to see his face. We were seated in an excellent and cosy place, merging love with the taste of every bite. Such was our son's surprise that he said, "I think it's too much for me". He had not finished saying those words when he received a video call from Cuba where he spoke with his beloved Grandma Isa, his aunt Lisette @lileisbel, his cousin Adrian @demoad , his other cousin Raisel.
La oferta del día incluía pulpo y langosta, así que pedimos nuestros platos de sushi favoritos nuestro hijo no salía de una sorpresa para otra, nos daba alegría ver su rostro. Nos sentamos en un lugar excelente y acogedor, fusionando el amor con el sabor de cada bocado. Era tal la sorpresa de nuestro hijo que nos decía: "Creo que es demasiado para mí". No había terminado de decir esas palabras cuando recibió una videollamada de cuba donde habló con su querida Abuela Isa, su tía Lisette @lileisbel, su primo Adrián @demoad , su otro primo Raisel.
He is a sushi lover and was enjoying his dish very well.
This filled us with great satisfaction as we were achieving our goals of making it a different kind of day.
Él es amante del sushi y estaba deleitando muy bien su plato.
Eso nos llenó de gran satisfacción pues los objetivos de que fuera un día diferente lo estábamos logrando.
But the surprise didn't end there. Upon returning home, my husband revealed a hidden cake to sing "Happy Birthday" to him again. It was a day full of emotions and joy.
My husband and I spent a whole month planning how to do something different without him noticing and his friends agreeing to meet another time, and they played a key role, they kept calling him and agreed with him to meet next week.
We were very pleased to see that we planned it, even though it was very different, our son liked it.
Pero la sorpresa no terminó ahí. Al regresar a casa, mi esposo reveló una torta escondida para cantarle nuevamente "Feliz Cumpleaños". Fue un día lleno de emociones y alegría.
Mi esposo y yo pasamos todo un mes planeando como hacer algo diferente sin que él se diera cuenta y sus amigos quedarán conforme con reunirse en otro momento, y ellos jugaron un papel fundamental, no dejaron de llamarle y acordaron con él reunirse la próxima semana.
Quedamos muy satisfechos al ver que lo planeamos a pesar de ser muy diferente a nuestro hijo le gusto.
