You can take the leaking motorcycle tank repair to our workshop
Good evening all hive friends, I hope you are always in good health, greetings from me @taillah to all friends in the Hive Motors community. On this occasion I would like to post my activity this afternoon, namely repairing a leaky motorcycle tank and this time I fixed it with my friend, he happened to be an expert in welding.
This time we had to work together because the repair process took a long time, because we had to open the motorcycle tank first so we could fix it.
And after we opened the motorcycle tank we immediately took the tank to be cleaned and my friend immediately cut the tank, and I only opened the tank after that it was his turn to cut the tank because he is proficient in that field, and in the cutting process we have to be careful because when we cut, the tank will be damaged and more difficult to repair, there must be skills in the cutting field, coincidentally my friend has been working in the welding workshop for a long time.
After the tank was ready to be cut by my friend and he told me to repair the tank that had been cut using a machine grinder and I did it with great care so that the tank wouldn't be damaged and after I cleaned it he told me to dry the tank so it's easy to weld again.
In the drying process it takes about two hours so that the tank is easy to re-weld and so that it doesn't easy to leak again.
And after drying for a few hours, my friend took the tank to re-weld what had been cut, and in the process of welding this tank, carbide welding was used because if you use ordinary welding, the tank will leak even more when welding, so special welding must be used.
After welding, the tank is dried again so that it is resistant and after drying the tank is taken back and put water into the tank so we know if the tank can be used, if the water comes out when it is put into the tank then the tank is still leaking and cannot be used.
After entering the water into the tank, Alhamdulillah, the tank can be used and can be reused, and I took the tank and put it back on the motorbike because the tank was ready to be repaired and was no longer leaking.
That's my post this time about repairing a leaky motorcycle tank, I hope hive friends like my post and hopefully my post can be useful for all hive friends, greetings from me to all friends in the Hive Motors community. Best regards from me @taillah.
