Red Velvet Dawet Ice

Dawet ice or Es Dawet is one of the typical Indonesian drinks made from rice flour, served with grated ice, brown sugar and coconut milk, this is a drink that has a sweet and savory taste. But lately, many restaurants and shops have innovated to develop the taste of this dawet ice, as was the case at the restaurant I visited this time, Majelis Kupie. In this restaurant there are several choices of flavors of dawet ice, and one of the choices is red velvet flavor. It's a unique mix of flavors but very tasty, I really like it, the sweet and savory taste mixed with the delicious creamy taste. The addition of red velvet flavor to dawet ice makes the dawet ice even more delicious. I'm so curious about the other flavors, I'll try the other flavors later.
