Has Always Been My Favorite Restaurant : Marugame Udon

There is one restaurant that has always been my favorite, this is a Japanese food restaurant or rather Udon. I really like eating at this restaurant even though there aren't many menu choices at this restaurant, the name of this restaurant is Marugame Udon.

It's a comfortable and pretty restaurant, although the interior isn't much. Looks simple but pleasing to the eye, I really like the atmosphere in this restaurant. This restaurant is usually in a shopping center, I don't know if they have their own restaurant that is not in a shopping center, but usually I eat at a branch of the restaurant in Sun Plaza, Medan, Indonesia.

The dining ordering system here is, ordering food at the cashier then paying for it and bringing the food to the table we want to occupy. As I said earlier, there aren't many menu choices here, everything is udon with a choice of different flavors and toppings and there are also additional menus for chicken katsu and tempura.

And this time I ordered a menu that I had never tried before, namely Spicy Tori Baiton Udon. This is the Udon menu with spicy chicken, mushrooms and with spicy chicken soup. And don't forget I also added an order of chicken katsu and tempura.

And the taste of this udon is very good, as expected from this restaurant. It's spicy and savory, although actually it's still not spicy enough for me so I need to add a few pieces of chili and chili powder. And to add to the delicacy of this udon I also add crispy fried flour, which we can take as much as we want.

It's a perfect combination, the udon is cooked very well, has a soft and chewy texture. The pieces of chicken meat are also delicious, soft, and given quite a lot. The chicken soup broth is also delicious, spicy, savory and thick. Actually I don't really like mushrooms, but they can make mushrooms very tasty like this.

And for the drinks I chose to order lemon tea, actually there are only two choices of drinks here, namely ocha and lemon tea and we are free to take whichever drink and how much we want.

And this is about my favorite restaurant, Marugame Udon. You can find it in several shopping centers in the city of Medan, or maybe in other cities. And what is certain is that you will not regret it and will even want to come again once you have tried the food from this restaurant.
