This is my first post in the Ladies of Hive Community and I hope that I can always continue to participate!
This time, I wanted to participate in initiative #113, which I love, especially because it focuses on one very important day: the transition from the old year to the new year.

What do you plan to do at midnight on the 31st?

Since I was a child, we have always had the habit of celebrating as a family, once we make our own home, the ritual remains, for this, we move to our mother's house, to enjoy our loved ones: parents, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, we meet to toast and give thanks for the good and bad things, that have left us bitter drinks, but well learned lessons.
On 31 December 2022, right at 12:00AM, I will embrace my loved ones, first of all: my grandparents, those beings with beautiful silver hair, which denotes wisdom, experience and love; then I will eat the 12 grapes, which symbolise good fortune in each of the wishes for the next 12 months and, immediately afterwards, we will sit down to eat a feast that, starting tomorrow 19 December, we will be preparing.
Even though it is a special day, tiredness always wins out around 2:00AM, and that's because the next day....

What are your plans for January 1st?

It is the official day to eat "reheated", nothing better than to savour the delicacies of a few hours before (I hope not to gain too much weight), and then, in caravan we will be ready to go to the beach, the best place to release stagnant energies and absorb the best of the planet that God gives us.

I wish you an end of the year surrounded by everyone you love, more than wishing for material things, the important thing is to be able to enjoy with the people who have given the best of themselves, so that we can be better human beings every day. Remember to show your affection, don't leave anything for later.

I hope to see you in a future initiative!

It's very cold in Canada and you are blessed for being able to go to a beach.
I also work as a Night shift nurse at the time as I will celebrate it with those patients that are still awake.
Have a good time and welcome to ladies of Hive @sweet-candy
