The war is over!

Hello lifestyle people! I hope you are all well, today I would like to share with you some news that has made me very happy and that is that in a few weeks my brackets will be removed, well, actually the removal of these will end in a few months since it is in parts, but soon I will get rid of them :D

Hola gente de lifestyle! espero que todos se encuentren muy bien, el día de hoy me gustaría compartir con ustedes una noticia que me ha hecho muy feliz y es que dentro de unas semanas mis brackets serán removidos, bueno, en realidad el retiro de estos culminará dentro de unos meses ya que es por partes, pero pronto ya me libraré de ellos :D

I have been wearing braces for a couple of years now, since I molted my teeth at a very young age, due to this some teeth started to come out where they shouldn't, being the "fangs" the ones that called the most attention, these were so high that they were in the gum, making my smile become somewhat ugly.

In elementary school I was never made fun of for my teeth, at least not on my face, but always when taking a picture I could not smile as I wanted because my parents wanted me to have a small smile so that these teeth would not be noticed, this caused me to have a little insecurity and I started to cover my mouth, something I still do unconsciously.

Les cuento que llevo un par de años con brackets, ya que mudé mis dientes a muy temprana edad, debido a esto algunos dientes empezaron a salir en donde no debían, siendo los "colmillos" los que llamaban más la atención, estos estaban tan arriba que se encontraban en la encía, haciendo que mi sonrisa se tornara algo fea.

En primaria nunca se burlaron de mi por mis dientes, al menos no en mi cara, pero siempre al momento de tomar una fotografía no podía sonreir como quería ya que mis padres querían que tuviera una sonrisa pequeña para que estos dientes no se notaran, esto ocasionó que tuviera una pequeña inseguridad y empezara a taparme la boca, cosa que aún sigo haciendo inconsientemente.

I remember when I was fitted with braces I was very happy because I could finally have a nice smile, however I felt some pain because I was not used to wearing braces and I was still recovering from a tooth extraction, because due to my case, 4 molars had to be extracted, otherwise I would still be the same.

Recuerdo que cuando me colocaron los brackets estaba muy feliz debido a que al fin podría tener una linda sonrisa, sin embargo sentía algo de dolor debido a que no estaba acostumbrada a usar brackets y aún me seguía recuperando de una extracción de muelas, pues debido a mi caso, 4 tuvieron que ser extraídas ya que sino seguiría estando igual.

With the use of braces I had to stop eating several things I liked or at least try not to eat them too much, because if I ate something sticky it could stick to the bracket and if it was too hard it could make it fall off. Luckily in these 2 years I only had 3 falls of brackets, but undoubtedly one of them I will never forget because I swallowed it while eating and I remember thinking I was going to die xD

Con el uso de los brackets tuve que dejar de comer varias cosas que me gustaban o al menos tratar de no consumirlas mucho, ya que si comía algo pegajoso esto podría adherirse al bracket y si era muy duro podía hacer que este se cayera. Por suerte en estos 2 años solo tuve 3 caías de brackets, pero sin dudas una de ellas nunca voy a olvidar ya que me lo tragué mientras comía y recuerdo pensar que me iba a morir xD

Today I feel very happy because I will finally be able to leave the braces, which are very nice but tormented me, although I will have to use other braces almost for the rest of my life, but now my parents can feel relieved by not having to pay so much for this treatment and I can finally chew gum (yes, that's what I've been waiting for all this time).

Hoy me suento muy feliz ya que por fin podré dejar los brackets, los cuales son muy lindos pero me atormentaban, aunque a continuación me tocará utilizar otros aparatos dentales casi que para toda mi vida, pero ya mis padres podrán sentirse algo aliviados al no tener que pagar tanto por este tratamiento y yo podré masticar chicle al fin (sí, eso ha sido lo que más estuve esperando todo este tiempo).
