My Actifit Report Card: November 8 2021

Busy day with work and a phone call from the bank checking whether two payments (which they had already processed) were bona fide. Haha, I was almost tempted to be shocked and say, no it wasn't anything to with us. Had a nice walk but not for too long, there was a lovely sunset sky but it was chilly and I was pleased to get home. Did some more work on my top cardigan - I unravelled the first attempt, only a few mistakes but right at the front near the neckline. Happier with this version, I think I've also worked out the formula for any gauge: cast on - front 21% x 2, sleeves 12% x 2, back 33%.

Front and back yoke with raglan increases shown in the pictures. I'm knitting with the yarn double, I like the thicker, cosier yarn, and it's interesting working with the colour variations and combination nations. I thought the green in the picture was a deep sea-blue. It is much richer and more saturated than the picture.
I've been thinking about the Clemence shoulder made by @neumannsalva and wondering if you could recreate it in knitting. This yarn doubled may be too thick? It would great to combine that construction with ruffles and flaps on the shoulder.

I started this on 4 November, I can't remember if that includes the swatch. I also unravelled the first attempt, which was almost as long as this. This piece is about a quarter of the finished length so far. I'm planning a simple fold over collar (or maybe a ruffle?) at the neckline.
