My Actifit Report Card: September 19 2021

These lilies smelled gorgeous back in August, I love them in the evening. They reminded me that I used to have some in the garden. I must plan for some more.

It was busy again today, tackling the garage and the garden room. A lot of it was just plain untidiness, and filling the car with flattened cardboard boxes and folded empty compost bags soon changed that, along with sweeping out the leaves and putting the gardening tools away.

The garden room (aka the smoking room aka that-bit-out-the-back-outside-the-kitchen) got a shake-up and everything put in order. The Big Cupboard under the stairs needs sorting out and everything put neatly away in there. It's where I keep plant pots and other garden things, apart from the tools which have their own stand on the garage.

You can see the floor in the garage now and walk from one end to the other. The next stage is condensing three sets of shelves down to two and creating a space for the lawn mower somewhere out of the way but accessible. There's lots of things - paint and so on - that I've had for a long time and are probably past their sell by date. We'll see.

Also wrote a letter to my sister and had a long chinwag with my neighbour. We chatted about the NO-BUY month (predictive text put that in capitals) and she teased me about living on green tomatoes. It's true, I have a good crop!

And finally, a fling with my new Shark - twice round the living room, across the kitchen, through the bathroom and the bit in front of my dressing table ... and the living room windowsill, all in less than sixteen minutes. Now, that's what I call a cordless vacuum cleaner!
