Passing by, the Thoughtful Thursday prompt for this week caught my attention. A great topic indeed because it involves how we live our lives amongst people, that can involve family, friends, colleagues and our employers of work ethics.

What does royalty mean to you and what role does it play in your relationships in life?

Royalty simply means staying supportive despite what challenges brings in the cause we are dealing with. Being royal to those we have relationships with comes in different ways because first and foremost, we have to search within our hearts ♥️ to know if we want to stay royal enduring every circumstance that we might encounter in this journey of being royal to those we have dealings with without wavering.

The bond of being royal has to come with being straightforward in all that we do with a person or people because we want to proof to them how we are there constantly supporting them in honesty. Its a bond from our conscience that we have resolved with in support to those we want to be royal to, which in return brings trust to anyone showing and being royal

Although sometimes those who has choose to be royal to a cause can be disappointed and will waver along the line because what they expect is not what they are seeing causing one to change in character of behaviors. I love ❤️ stay truthful and trusting when dealing with people, giving in my best to the end.

I have helped a cousin developed a property in the cause of my work as a Realtor. Because I have been in this building business for years, I have gathered more experience on how things work on site including procurement and purchase of building materials. So from foundation I started to oversee things at the site for him because he was based in the USA 🇺🇸. All he did was to employ Engineers in every other areas of building management.

And as work began to go on from German floor to laying of bricks 🧱, to first floor decking, I was overseeing and detailing every material purchase and payment of workers which I put in writing ✍️ and always forwarding to my cousin . Then as time passes, the Engineers 👩‍💻 at the site started to want to play games on how to carry out dubious malpractices of doubling cost 💲 of materials which one part will go to them. And because I was involved, they were not able to it on their own.

Seeing its not going to be an easy act, they decided to involve me. Telling me how its an opportunity for me to make lots of money 💰. What? I looked at this people and could not believe them, The first question I asked them is: Are you aware am here because I am the eyes 👀 of my cousin who is not here? And the second question was: How do you think 💭 my cousin will feel if he gets to find out I teamed up with you guys to reap him off?. Stories of how opportunities cones but once was their reply.

I stood and challenged them with capital NO. Telling them to live with what they earn or tell my cousin to increase their earnings. I made them to understand how am going to be an outcast if anything happens and my cousin seeing me as s betrayal. I made to know that blood 🩸 is thicker than water 💦, because they will finish the building project dnd leave, staying fay without contact. But my cousin and I will be seeing each other all the rest of our life.

I see being royal as standing up for our loved 🥰 ones when they are there or not there. They could be family, friends of many years, colleagues in our office places and employers . Being supportive of them and protecting what belongs to them. I could have choose to loot with the Engineers 👩‍💻, but that will be shameful of me as blood relation to the owner of the building. And not that this kind of incident does not happen everyday, but its all a matter of individual personality, what conscience do we have and what examples do we choose to portray out of life.

And to the end. All we do, we do for ourselves, because when we choose the good way, we are definitely building our future for that legacy of a good name and memories.
