Smaug the dragon

Hi Hivers, hope you are all doing great my friends. I had connectivity issue with peakd on my iPad and was not able to post from a couple of days. Today it’s back, and so is my post.

I have been participating in storybookseptember art challenge and it’s been so much fun. I drew a dragon from the Hobbit movie scene. Hope you guys will like it. Let me know how it is in the comments.

Rough sketch followed by base colours and texture details. Then highlights and shadows. I worked on each body part in different layer.
