Hello friends welcome to all of you hope you all are fine safe and healthy my name is @Suhail Ur Rehman from Jammu and Kashmir @India. Today I am writing the first post in @BDC community, the topic will be about peace Education

Let's start

PEACE

Peace is nothing but only a state of mind. When a person is in the state of soul consciousness only then we can say that a man has found true happiness. In other words peace is a virtue which we develop through regular patience

Peaceful nation, peaceful country, peaceful community, peaceful people shine and develop day by day unlike disturbed minds. Peaceful minds have high thoughts and can liberate the occupied minds. If I take an example of the people of @jammu and Kashmir @afganistan @palestine. They are living in the disturbed zones, their generations and newbies remain disturbed untill the occupation ends

They cannot even get good studies, good jobs and good interaction with people throughout the world

Example of myself

I am living in Kashmir as I mentioned in my intros post, Kashmir is disputed territory since 1947, my mom always says do not go far away from me outside there is dangerous situations

I was almost 2013 when I was 15 years old I was studying in Srinagar the capital of Jammu and Kashmir suddenly internet snapped throughout the valley it is because (shrine board) incident took place

People come out into the roads and shouting slogans like we want our land. Then hurriyat conference leaders calls for continuous shut downs in the valley the second name of Kashmir at the time I was studying in 3rd year, it was quite disturbing for me what to do after 3rd year where should I go, then my friend @ishfaq and me decided to go outside of the state then I got admission in HNB Garhwal university where I completed my Masters in zoology

At the end I am not only student from the disturbed land there are millions of well talented students whose talent got waste. Now come to the point let's put some light upon peace Education

Peace Education

Peace education is a planning strategy of eliminating the conflicts and violence caused by in justice, inequality and human rights violations, and implementing the ways and means of reducing the same through appropriate teaching and learning tactics by means of producing responsible global citizens to attain and spread the peace in the world. Therefore peace education is a goal of education

Role of community in promoting peace Education

Individuals learn through life from the social milieu formed by the community to which they belong. The community has a powerful educational influence on its members. The ideologies, culture, traditions and values of a community are reflected in the personality of its members. We have experienced the difference between the personalities of children coming from progressive and open communities and of those coming from traditional and closed communities. It is therefore, important that the teachers and parents provide enough opportunity to children's to grow in a peaceful environment

Community serves as a vehicle for culture and values and creates an environment where socialization can take place. Community can serve the best means for the promotion of peace education

Why do we need peace education

Peace means being one with life itself. Having no fear or bitterness. Peace is more than merely sitting still or in silence. Peace therefore, is a state of mind. Tagore rightly said "where the mind is without fear and the head is held high, into the kingdoms of freedom my father let my country awake"

If the war begins in the minds of men it is because of conflict, conflicts are of different natures, personal conflict, interpersonal conflict, communal conflict etc. The concept peace education goes hand in hand with conflict resolution. This can be considered the primary approach for peace education

*We all need peace education in our small and large populations, communities and also in blog communities one can easily understands the value of the other person when we are born from the mothers womb we live peaceful life till the age of 10 after that some people diverge from their original point some retain the good. So finally end with this point peaceful mind can never thinks negative thoughts
