Yo me encuentro fenomenal, mas feliz que una lombriz jajaja por que tuve el gran placer de visitar otro lugar histórico de mi país, tiene por nombre El Fortin de la Galera esta ubicado en la Isla de Margarita, específicamente en la ciudad de Juan Griego fue construido en 1811 por orden de la Junta Patriótica de Margarita para vigilar y prevenir posibles ataques desde el mar, este al sol de hoy es un patrimonio histórico y turístico en la isla de Margarita, Chris y yo no dudamos ni un segundo en viajar 30 minutos para conocerlo, este fortín es mejor conocido como el lugar con los mejores atardeceres de toda la Isla, si quieres conocer mas a fondo este hermoso lugar sigue leyendo este post! 👇

Hello friends! Happy day to all of you, I hope you are very well! I feel great, I am happier than a worm hahaha because I had the great pleasure to visit another historical place in my country, it is called El Fortin de la Galera is located on Margarita Island, specifically in the city of Juan Griego was built in 1811 by order of the Junta Patriotica de Margarita to monitor and prevent possible attacks from the sea, this to this day is a historical and touristic heritage in Margarita Island, Chris and I did not hesitate for a second to travel 30 minutes to know it, this fort is best known as the place with the best sunsets of the whole Island, if you want to know more about this beautiful place keep reading this post! 👇

Al llegar lo primero que nos topamos fue esta escalera, una vez la subimos pudimos admirar el hermoso atardecer que se estaba formando a lo lejos.

Upon arrival the first thing we came across was this staircase, once we climbed it we could admire the beautiful sunset that was forming in the distance.

Luego al subir la segunda escalera quedamos boquiabiertos al tener la mejor vista de todo Juan Griego justo frente a nosotros, se podia ver claramente la playa a un lado también, es increíblemente hermosa esta vista!.

Then when we climbed the second staircase we were amazed to have the best view of all Juan Griego right in front of us, you could clearly see the beach on one side as well, it is incredibly beautiful this view!

Una vez nos adentramos vimos que no éramos los únicos conociendo este lugar, habían muchas personas en realidad, todas maravilladas y fotografiando las hermosas vistas que hay desde las alturas, como pueden ver hay un camino de piedra que lleva hasta donde se obtiene la mejor vista, una vista panorámica de toda Juan Griego, mientras nos íbamos acercando se podia apreciar a lo lejos las casas que están a las orillas del mar y sobre ellas un hermoso atardecer.

Once we got inside we saw that we were not the only ones knowing this place, there were many people actually, all amazed and photographing the beautiful views from the heights, as you can see there is a stone path that leads to where you get the best view, a panoramic view of all Juan Griego, as we were approaching we could see in the distance the houses that are on the shores of the sea and above them a beautiful sunset.

Este lugar como muchos lugares turísticos de la Isla esta muy bien cuidado y preservado como pueden ver en las fotografías, es algo que me encanta de poder vivir en este lugar, tiene muchos sitios históricos con personas apasionadas por su cuidado, además es un sueño hecho realidad poder conocer las bellezas que mi país tiene.

This place like many tourist places on the island is very well cared for and preserved as you can see in the photographs, is something that I love to live in this place, has many historical sites with people passionate about their care, it is also a dream come true to know the beauties that my country has.

Dos cosas que llamaron mucho mi atención fueron el pequeño estanque con un lindo mensaje de " Cuidemos el ambiente " y un monumento donde puedes leer parte de la historia de este Fortin, de hecho lo primero que resalta fue que este lugar se declaro sitio histórico a los 180 años de haberse librado una gran batalla llamada " El Fuerte! ".

Two things that caught my attention were the small pond with a nice message of "Let's take care of the environment" and a monument where you can read part of the history of this fort, in fact the first thing that stands out was that this place was declared a historic site 180 years after a great battle called "El Fuerte! ".

Una vez llegamos al lugar mas deseado pudimos apreciar los cañones que defendían este fortín además de la vista panorámica de toda Juan Griego y el mar, ver este sitio en fotos es hermoso pero estar allí y admirar con tus propios ojos lo hermoso que es no tiene precio, Chris y yo nos sentamos a disfrutar de este gran atardecer naranja ya que somos muy amantes de los atardeceres, y de las aventuras en general, algo que agradezco de poder compartir mi vida junto a el, es que ambos somos personas aventureras, haber conocido este lugar junto a el es aun mas mágico para mi 🙌

Once we arrived at the most desired place we could appreciate the canyons that defended this fort as well as the panoramic view of all Juan Griego and the sea, to see this place in photos is beautiful but to be there and admire with your own eyes how beautiful it is is priceless, Chris and I sat down to enjoy this great orange sunset because we are very fond of sunsets, and adventures in general, something that I appreciate to share my life with him, is that we are both adventurous people, having known this place with him is even more magical for me 🙌
