Funny how we make plans and say we're not going to do this or that and we're going to change how we do things. I made this statement when I first started my goals this year;

It's all about getting to where I want to be. I need to do more of what it takes to build my tokens to where I want them & the plan is to earn most of them. While I will still buy from time to time , no more breakin the bank to get Hive just to buy other tokens. Most of the tokens on Hive can be earned & there are a few that have to be bought & that's where I would trade my hive that I buy.

Notice the bolded part, well guess what? I still continue to break the bank just to buy my Hive. However, as long as my bills are paid, personal & business, I will continue to give all I can too build my portfolio. Besides, I'm having fun & really enjoying my times when I'm on Hive.

Things are getting interesting & I've changed my thought on some of my goals. As time moves on & new things come along, and I learn new things, I find that some things aren't for me so it makes me think twice about what I want.

The one thing that hasn't changed though is my token desires & delegations.

The Nitty Gritty

Let's take a look at the real reason you came to this post.

INCOME TOKENS

These tokens I consider the most important tokens since they produce more of other tokens and sometimes Hive. Because I need Hive to buy other tokens my main focus will be on building those tokens that pay me Hive. These are first on my Income goals.

TIPPING TOKENS

I love tipping tokens because most of the time my vote has no value or very little when it does, even less than you get from a tipping token. So as a way to show appreciation for their post or comment I like to add a tip so they get something from me.
This week there's a little growth in most, basically what I have received in tips.

MINER TOKENS

Miner tokens are good to have as away to earn the regular token. I consider the miner token an income token since they produce more of the standard token.

Rewards Tokens

These tokens are at the foremost of my portfolio, alongside income tokens. One of things about these tokens is that they are more than your average token. Some are multi-functional & have valid use case history & there’s a few that have piqued my interest & I want to support them. Of course this could change in the future but I'll deal with that when it happens.

DELEGATIONS

I have a few delegations and would like to give more. Delegations is another great way to earn crypto. When you delegate you get dividends usually in the form of the token your delegating to. Sometimes you get Hive, and sometimes you may get another token. It all depends on the token provider, they usually have a post on what they pay or you can always go to the community on discord & ask questions.

My List Is Growing!

This week I added a couple more delegations. I find that these delegations are helping me grow quite a bit and plan to increase these delegations soon, not to mention that I seem to find new initiatives to support through delegations every week.

SATURDAY SAVERS CLUB

POWER UP EVERY MONTH HIVE, PIZZA, & LEO

I'm really upset with myself this month. While I did maek my power up for Hive, somehow LEO & PIZZA PUD slipped right by me. I still do my monthly power up but it's late.

Powering Hive up every month is something I've been doing for a little more than a year now, in September, 2022 I started powering up Leo and then followed that the next month by powering up PIZZA. Powering up is a way to grow your power in these tokens or any token. I have seen my LEO power triple since I started participating in the LPUD, which has made my LEO earnings increase. I don't power up these tokens until 'Power Up Day' arrives. This way I don't have to buy as much when PUD arrives.

GET BACK INTO CUB LIFE & SPI

These initiatives I got into way back when and are 2 of the things that fell through the cracks. They have been producing very small earnings for me ever since. I had much to learn about them so they ended up being smothered by all the newer stuff. A couple of months ago I took the time to invest a little in CL as before & I seen my CL holdings double, so why not get back to it, now is the perfect time. SPI drops a Hive in my wallet once a week just for holding it, so why shouldn't I increase my holdings in SPI. Working at it! I've moved this up on the list as I am using SPI as part of my savings goal & I have been contributing to CL.

BUILD MY RAVEN POSITION
Raven is a musician that I have been following and she has a token & often give gifts to her token holders. She is growing and she's doing it right here on Hive. I like to build my holdings of her tokens to about 100 tokens.

WRITE THOUGHTS & IDEAS MORE IN JOURNAL

I used to use a journal to write down my thoughts & ideas, but lately I haven't been doing that as much. All the pieces of note paper or a index cards are everywhere, no organization. My journals are any notebook I have handy. This week I've been using my journal & it stays open on my desk.
I keep my notebook right on my desk open & in front of my
computer. This has been very useful, it almost makes me pick up the pen as soon as I have a thought or see something I want to keep or post about. No more scraps of paper or index cards with my notes all over the place.
I guess you could say this is done, but the thing is to keep it going for the rest of the year.

My Goals For 2023

These are my main goals for me to focus on. This List is a little bigger than usual but it represents what I want and need to get to before my crypto will work for me as hard as I work for it. I realize that these goals may not be fully achieved this year, but this is what I have to work for. I'm sure it will be just like in past years where I complete some goals & unfortunately some goals fall a little short. But the whole point of having goals is to know where you're headed & to help keep you on track to get there.

OTHER PLANS

This is where a lot of my thoughts have affected my goals. There are so many things to be a part of on Hive that you can easily take on too much, this has happened to me over the years. Whenever something new/new token hit the market I had to get involved. Now that has overwhelmed me & I began to let things slip through the cracks. Things I didn't want to let go of but I was trying to be a part of too much. So in light of that, I now have to clean up my mess & get back to reality which is I can't do it all. Also, I have to remember there are still things to come.
Funny how I seem to still be letting things slip through the cracks. I'm still trying to do too much, but at least I'm not overwhelmed right now.

I'm not yet removing any of my goals just yet, but some will be put on the back burner for a while or until I decide that I don't want to do it. Others I have moved up the list as I see them in performance as I diligently work towards them.

UNWANTED TOKENS

What do you do with something you don't want? Simply put, you get rid of it. I plan to sell all the tokens that come into my wallet that I have no interest in. There are tons of them just sitting there & most of them have no value, no use case & a topic I want no part of.
I have managed to unload some of these. In the process I found that a couple of them (like APE) drops into my wallet becasue of my holdings in income tokens like INDEX, so I will probably move the to my rewards list of undecided tokens.
**I also found that some of these tokens could be delegated so I did that. I also unstaked all that were staked so I can sell them.

FULLY DISOLVE OF SPLINTERLANDS – (SEND TO RYAN) Been halted...

While this is high on my list and although I want to disolve the game, I find that it's not that simple. Although I don't play anymore, it plays a part in my portfolio & income on Hive. I do have cards that I rent and need to find a way to replace what I get from them before I can let it go completely.

I'll be sending them to my grandson, Ryan. I got him on Hive and into the game in 2021 when I spent half the year in Pennyslvainia where he lives. Besides, he understands it better than I do.
Now he's got a new cell phone and I have started sending him the cards. I have also delegated him some HP & RC, I sent him some HBD to cover the cost of his spellbook, so he's pretty much set.

GET RID OF OTHER GAMES I’M NO LONGER INTERESTED IN
Like DCITY, CRYPTO-BREWMASTER, & a few others, keeping only those that I have actually had the time to play. I also need games that have a type of set-n-forget thing, where I can do some actions and return later to collect & set up again, kinda like Rising Star & Rabona. Cleaning out games I've been sitting on cause there's no time or no space on my Chromebook that I play my games on. Also I have to make room for upcoming games like ChifiBots.

Haven't done anything here just yet but I just lost one game (Rabona) due to it's ending and in the process, I also lost all the in-game tokens. I'm glad I didn't pay for these tokens cause I would be real upset about it if I had.

GET BACK TO CTP & LISTNERDS
As I got involved with other things, I let ListNerds fall through the cracks, going to the site once or twice a week instead of daily. It didn't help that the program did some upgrading & in the process I saw my earnings go from the thousands to 100-200 a week, and less if I did almost nothing. I still rave about ListNerds, just not as loud as I once did.
CTP - this is what bought me to Hive & helped me get to where I am today. It was the teachings of @jongolson, @elianaicgomes, & @blainjones that helped to stucture me and keep me up to date on anything crypto in their vessels. They have created several vehicles on Hive that has also helped my growth. They continue to build on the blockchain & make programs that only helps to increase my earnings, all I have to do is use them. One day I'll introduce you to the programs of CTP.

I haven't been as diligent as I should be, but do make time to get there about twice a week. Still not mailing though.

MY SERIES

Last year as a way to produce content, I developed some series to write/update on a regular basis so that I know that I had a few valuable pices of content to present you with. I need to work on these series on a more consistent basis, @ least 2 post per month for each series. I also have one I metioned last year but never started it. Still haven't gotten to all of this, but trying to fit it in this week, at least one of more of them.

Enough to overwhelm anyone!

But it's all about getting to where I want to be. My goals this year are a little different than usual & a result of seeing what's been happening over the past couple of years. These goals aren't just to say what tokens I plan to focus on but pretty much all of what I plan to do on Hive this year. The things I've been doing have been working but very slowly. I need to step up my game.

These last few things on the list, I have read about some but this is what makes me have second thoughts about them. I'm still working to make everything fit together, kinda like a system.

DIESEL POOLS
Learn more about Diesel Pools & what benefit they are to me & possibly start using them. I don't understand all the talk about liquidity, so that's what has me a little confused. I also don't understand what I get out of using diesel pools and how often I get it. It's the little things that has stopped me from doing this, I don't mind a little risk but I like to know what is required of me to do before I dive in. Like once I set it up, when do I return to check it & the possibilities around it.
I recently read a post about this & I'm still confused. From a conversation in the comments, it sounded like something I'm really not interested in. However, before I rule it out I will attempt to try it when I feel as though I have the tokens to do it. Sometimes it's better to do something as well as read about it & that's how I work.

AUREAL - PODCAST APP
Learn more about the app & how to use it. I'll be preparing myself for the 30 day challenge 'NaPodPoMo' (National Podcasting Posting Month) in Nov 2023. I attempted this last year but got caught up cause I didn't know how to use the app. After 3 days I gave up. I was also doing another 30 challenge at the same time & didn't have the time to learn something new. plus I was having computer issues, so that didn't help things any.

WITNESS NODE
Another one of those things I don't understand but here it's a good thing to do & earn some Hive in the process. So one more thing to educate myself on. Besides, there is a cost involve and I have to know all the details of the cost and the money for starting & keeping it going for at least the first 6 months.

DISCORD
Learn more about the use of discord. For personal use & for the preparation of my own community. I also need to clean up my discord & get rid of some of those groups I am no Longer interested in.

TEAM FUTURE FAITH
This is my community! I have already created the community through PeakD over a year ago. I had lots of thoughts, ideas, & plans but found that there was so much to learn if I planned on running a community. Plus I needed to get a few other people interested that would help me in building the community with task like curating & commenting. And I also needed to decide on what token I would reward with until I could get my own. More to come in the future!

I've been looking at some things & started to have second thoughts about running a community. I don't think I have the time that it takes to run a community. So I don't know if I will make this happen or not.
