HiveBloPoMo | Blank Today | A Rant!!

Today, I have nothing on my caledar & I not crazy about the topic on the HiveBloPoMo calendar so as I sit here, I decided to just start typing and see where my ind and typing takes me.

Well here we go, 'A Rant' inspired by a phone call I just received.

I hate bill collectors! You pay your bill every month and well in advance most of the time but as soon as your down to the wire & they haven't gotten their money, they call you as if you need a reminder to pay your bill.

This isn't the first time this company has called me 3-4 days before my bill is due, but it's the first time in a while since I had been paying around the 11th-14th.

So when I answer, the woman on the other end tells me where she's calling from, (which I already knew), then proceeds with 'I have a shut off notice for tuesday', and that's all I heard because I cut her off by telling her, 'I'll be in to pay'.

I have had the money for over a week now just sitting there. I just didn't feel like going to the company & make the payment, & since I knew I had plenty of time I really didn't care. It was on my to do list for today anyway.

Now this is my bill that if not paid, I wouldn't have any internet, and I wouldn't be able to get on Hive & do what I do. It also would mean that I would use a bunch of data on my cellphone which mean that would cost me too.

So why do companies think you need to have a reminder call? There are other ways for me to be reminded if that's what I needed or wanted.

No Internet No Hive, and that's a NO NO, so I would never forget that bill!
